i know in the past when appstore first started ,, i was having loads of issues, with ,,, after speaking to 1 of the mp3 crew ,,, the design for appstore only really excepts IE explorer,,, and possiabley a fwew others like chrome,,, i was useing FF as well and was told thats my issue Firefox,,, firefox is not that compatible with appstore...
I can vouch for this. Can't even get older Mozilla client to login, much less do anything. Used IE, problems went away.
Posted about it a while back in that particular appmart sub-forum, but realistically I can't see solutions for compatibility being a priority. It would however be nice to have a: "experience may suck if not using xxxx, if you have problems please use xxxxx-x browser instead, as it has been tested to function properly" disclaimer at the login prompts for the appmart.
I have sent them a reminder and they said that they would look into it and do some cross browser testing
I'll have an updated installer posted most likely tonight in the first post...
And when John gets back it will be moved to the appstore.
