Thread: DFX 5.1.2 Released [ Updated 04-02-12 ]

I'm going to re-install DFX again, once it's in the app mart. I reverted back to my backup for now until things get iron out. As you can see I don't have fuel prices anymore, but it works in carwings and my DFX backup. And something is wrong with the button editor in the new DFX too, as you can see below. Oh well,.... what a shame I was really loving this updated version. Sorry guys.

PS:If there is a skin update fix from within the DFX skin, I'll give it another go at it. I guess...

Lucky this is on my test machine,.....and if I get everything working ship-shape on W7 OS,... XP should be a breeze,..right?

Ya, we are really hoping to use the updater to push out any/all updates. The installer will only be updated from time to time, as its a PITA to constantly re-upload it...

I haven't touched that btn editor in quite some time now, I may need to revisit it. And I'll check out the Fuel prices not showing here.

Yeah, that makes sense. That's what the updater is for,.... no more re-ups.

Okay my wifi notification is not working even though I am connected, and the updater is not showing anything on the page at all. I also did a search for the dfx.dll and did not find it anywhere on my hard drive. Along with the Cover Art Browser not working. Any relation between them all.

Yes you do, see its right there...just labeled differently Gas Prices = Fuel Prices

Yes, I do see that its broken.. I'll look and see what we caused it to brake.

Recent version of RRVM? I just downloaded...on a fresh install here and did have an issue, not related to yours though...

Blue, FuelPrices all fixed now. Take a look at the skin.ini file.

I had a problem with #20 and #22.

They were set for Gas Prices.....Load; Gas Prices skin. etc.

So I made the change to RRFP and all well.

Also, there is no FuelPrices.png in the menuIcons folder, so I copied the gas one and renamed to FuelPrices.

Yes, button editor would have made things easy.

Its the Plugin called GPSLockout that is one of the very few that are included in the installer now. It uses the SPD from the gps data from RR, so if wonders a bit while stationary and shows you going faster then the lockout set speed it will...er..lock you out of video/dvd type features. You can either disable/uninstall the plugin, or you can set the lockout speed setting up a bit higher to prevent such an issue. Easiest way to disable it, would be to unregister the dll found in the RR\Plugins folder, or if you want to simply keep it and try adjusting the setting via the ini also found in its plugin folder.
