DFX 5.1.2 Released [ Updated 04-02-12 ]

Yep. I'm familiar with the service. Another Developer I know uses it and is very happy with it. I've just never got around to it. I suddenly realized after your request that I have a very good use for it. My son is in the Army on duty in Afghanistan. He has some songs he recorded here while he was home on leave (I'm an audio engineer on the side) and wants me to send them to him on a CD. If I just upload to dropbox, he can get them there anytime he wants and damn faster and cheaper than I can ship 'em.

Been away for 3 weeks & been ploughing through the threads, is the new auto update feature in 5.1.1? I can't see it on the features list?

Yes, that was the major addition for 5.1.1. With the default install, look on menu 4. It's labeled as update skin I believe in the btn list as well

I just got the Superbeam Stereo Array Microphone how do I enable RRVOICE..?

Wait so do I have to download RRVOICE ZIP and set up a folder in the RR plug-ins?
I assumed all this was part of the DFX5 installer? confused

OK I think I do,,,just created a rrvoice folder unzipped all files & did the config and bat started dfx5 clicked the mic button it went from from red to green haven't tried on my car pc

I got it working. although I did get the blue screen of death a couple of time in XP sp2 any known cause for this??

Also when I went to the updater nothing was there. I had to reinstall the DFX5 installer then it showed the updates&installed them then I replay the splash screen patch Hmmm??

Turn on RR's debug, in the skin.ini under the MISC section, set the DFXDebug=True. Then start up rr and give it a try, attach both your rr debug and the debug.txt found in the dfx5\plugins\dfx5 folder.

Ya, the help file is to say the least, a bit out of date.... along with the above debug logs when you go into that screen, the btn should say "Check for updates", clicking it of course should do as it says. Also see if after you do that, you have a "DFXUpdater_debug.txt" file in your dfx5\plugins\dfx\autoupdater folder, if so, attach with the other above files...

Attached are my debug files. There was however no debug file for the updater. Don't know why. That was after setting RR debug to true and reattempting updater.

When I start RR, and then hit the "play button", the song progress bar moves as if the song is playing, however there is no sound. If I pause, and then hit play, I still have no sound. The only way that I've found to solve this is if I skip forward a song - I then have sound. This is awfully annoying though as I have to do it every time I start RR in order to play music.

Any ideas?
