That's what I was hoping you were going to say. Way cool!

I might make a thread this weekend that lists the plugin details and see what kinda traffic it draws. ATM, it's in the process of being converted over to .net for more flexibility.

Voice control is one of those features that may not seem that necessary to folks until they have actually used it. Maybe that's because it requires purchase of another piece of equipment (a mic), a trigger mechanism (even though it can be as simple and inexpensive as a wireless mouse, which is what I use), and one can be apprehensive about how well it's going to work. I remember I poo pooed the idea of installing RRVoice until John cajoled me into it and now I absolutely could not live without voice control. And that doesn't even factor in the safety component.

Trying to understand the Music database.

I have 8623 mp3's in my mp3 folder according to a windows search in the folder *.mp3
If I rescan DB at first when it begins it shows 16655/16655 cant read what it says because it goes away too fast but I see 16555/16555.

A few seconds later it says looking for new music files changes numbers while searching/8625
When complete it says Database Complete total songs 16555

Why is it showing total songs 16555?
Shouldn't it be 8623 or the 8625 number.

    Thanks

    Sharing GPS

I am having trouble getting DFX to share my GPS with iGuidance. Physically I have a BU-353 connected as COM3. If I set Native GPS to use COM3 in RRConfig, DFX can communicate with the GPS and I get data (Satellites, Latitude, Longitude) just fine. If I set Native GPS to None, iGuidance has no problems using the GPS. So I know the GPS works.

To share the GPS, I’m using com0com along with hub4com to duplicate COM3 to COM5 and COM6. Outside of RR, I can run 2 GPS programs using COM5 and COM6 without any problem. Running DFX with Native GPS set to COM5 and iGuidance set to COM6 (or vice versa) iGuidance works just fine, but DFX gets no GPS data. Anyone have any ideas?

    Com0com setup:
    install 0 – PortName=COM5,EmuBR=yes
    change CNC0 EmuBR=yes
    install 1 – PortName=COM6,EmuBR=yes
    change CNC1 EmuBR=yes

    Hub4com setup:
    hub4com –baud=4800 –route=all \\.\COM3 \\.CNCA0 \\.\CNCA1

    System: Windows 7 Pro 64bit

What are others using to share a GPS COM port under win 7 64bit?

    Thanks!
