Go into the scripts\dfxlock ini file and change where it says Locked or there abouts
Thanks Blue. I have been pouring thru the rr.ini looking for info on whether DXF is locked or not. I would have never found it in the scripts area.
Blue, no joy. I opened the DFXlock.ini and it is shown in the "unlocked" mode. Is there another setting somewhere else that might be over riding the DFXlock.ini in the scripts folder?
Gonna take a weird stab at this locking question. If you're using Blue Soliel, (along with MobilePhone.net) there is a locking feature in it that will lock the pc when your cell phone is away from the pc. Maybe you've got something going there? http://www.bluesoleil.com/products/S...005190009.html
I believe aLock was included as a standard feature in the last update release of Blue Soleil.
I am not sure what would cause that.... If it is set to unlock, it should not be locking at startup strange....
As for the weather I have been working on..... :(
The Weather Channel has decided to pull their free XML feed that RR uses with their API. On October 31'st at midnight, the weather feed will be closed. They will now be charging a ridiculous fee of $65 a MONTH to use their information! ! !
So what this means, in the short term, is that weather in RR will completely stop working on Oct 31'st.
The Good:
I have been scrambling to build a replacement weather.dll to be used with RideRunner. It will use all existing variables that all skins use now for information, so weather skins in all skins will work with it.
The Bad:
The new XML feed does not have detailed information for night time. All that is available is the overnight low. So night time icons are no longer going to work / be used.
When the plugin is completed, it will have U.S. / World conversion for temperature and wind speeds. You will be able to search for a city using a zipcode, city name, or even latitude and longitude.
