Thread: DFX 5.1.2 Released [ Updated 04-02-12 ]

Well i seem to be nearly there Got phone, rrvoice and visuals all working just need to sort a decent mic out The Andrea Electronics Superbeam Is about £80 over here so just orderd a ASUS SOUNDMAX SUPERBEAM of ebay For about £9 and as far as i can tell is the same unit Just not sure if it comes with the software or not..

the only problems ive got at the moment is

1) when you start up the music will start then stop you can click play and it will run for a few seconds then stop again.... The only way i can get it to play is press the progress bar......

2) when using rrvoice to get to the browser screen (music,browser) and then play artist the album will start playing but the text is still displaying the last album.. Is there any way to get it it to display the correct album ...also i cant seem to find a command to add up directory to the rrvoice ini

found out why the page up command wasnt working.... scroll up was listed twice when one entry should have been page up

Item 2 is a known issue with RRVoice, which takes quite a bit of CPU capacity when switching songs. It's especially the case with large music libraries. Item 1 may be for the same reason. The only solutions at this point are to get a more powerful computer or wait for DFX voice.

The latter being the slightly cheaper option, depending on your donation.... Heheh

Cpu runs at about 8-12% and about 30% when processing a voice command, which im happy with however i watched the rrvoice video on page 1 again and discovered playlist and wide playlist so all sorted

I didnt see any phone commands in the rrvoice plugin menu ini are they supported ?????

Lol, I would have said more like RR basic, but I'm pretty sure that we surpassed that a bit ago..

The reason i ask is that i fancy having a go at some ..Is there much difference between the different versions coding wise

Hey guys.

I'm having a few issues with DFX 5.1.1. Someone had the same issue as one of my problems, but I didnt see a fix for it.

First, the problem the other person was having, when I press and hold a button to change it, it locks RR up.

Second, I cant change the 3Dlogo. Every time I try, it just keeps displaying the default clock. I've tried several different logo's, with the same result.

Third, and I'm not sure it's an issue with DFX or RR, but since I updated both RR and DFX at the same time, I cant be sure. The location doesnt work anymore, the one in the GPS etc that tells you the city, state and zip. I know theres a setting in an .ini file, but I set the one I thought was the line and it didnt do anything. There use to be a setting in the config program, but it isnt there anymore.
