Just installed rrfuel prices which works great (thanks Enforcer) I had to change the keyboard commands as they didnt work with sygic rc11 which was stated in the readme now it works great in carwings loads up sygic and plots a route which is great. when in dfx it loads the iguidance screen with sygic behind. Ive had a look in the skin.ini and the
exectbl to see if i can find where it says to load this skin so i can change it to the sygic screen

Question is ...do i need glasses or am i just looking in the wrong place lol

Good to know that actually works for someone, not many people have got back to me with their experiences on the navigation part of it. (Give thanks to Dartman on the sygic integration as we spent quite a bit of time getting it to work)

Well the command sent from RRFP is GPS followed by the commands to make sygic the active window and then send the keycommands, so you need to look at what the GPS command is being translated into in DFX5. Normally GPS is set in RRConfig, but knowing DFX5 it probably gets changed somewhere.

Question for all. I'm new to making DFX skins, and I want to add a button and skin for my topographic nav program to my DFX 5.1.1. The program is designed for touchscreens, so there is no requirement for any program buttons around the border of the skin. The only skin buttons I would want to have are the standard music controls available on other screens, and the Menu button of course. This program will also be supplemental to Iguidance, so I want to keep IG intact.

My question to the group is, with the latest DFX and RR version, what is the best existing skin to modify, and what would be the best and quickest high level approach to implement the skin for this program? Looking for basic steps to do this.

Looking back through the RR FAQ and Help, it seems those embedding tips are a bit out of date. If there is another thread to guide me through this, would appreciate a link or number. Thanks all.

You don't really have to modify any skins however If it were me i would duplicate the Dash Command skin and rename it. That pretty much the same concept there. It's all the bottom buttons you need while the top area is available for the program to embed. There are stickies on how to embed any program into RR. For the button there is Button Editor made by Blue ZX3. Should be included some where in the skin.

yeah your right.. I found the line for opening sygic instead of iguidance so now it opens sygic it does however open anothe window in front of it saying calculating route which i believe is also tied into iguidance and is taking focus of the sygic window so it misses the commands sent by the plugin. I an having trouble locating that line so far banghead i was thinking, maybe delaying the output from the plugin until the window has gone, say 5 seconds might work but how do i get the focus back on the sygic screen ???

this skin seems to favour iguidance for most things..

Turn RR debugging on and then have a look at the debug.txt that RR prints.

You should then be able to see the commands that are sent when the GPS command is sent.

Is there somewhere else I can paypal to for the patch. Auto app mart gets stuck in a checkout loop while trying to pay with paypal. Two other people have posted the same issue as far back as early October and nobody from the app store has responded????

Im seeing RRFusion was updated with some new skin commands. Im not sure when. Do I need to change these commands or is DFX ready for this?
