DFX 5.1.2 Released [ Updated 04-02-12 ]

More input on this. Winamp works OK. Problem appears when using Foobar. Unfortunately winamp is not an option for me, so currently using the classic browser.

Ya, this is my next item to work on, RRMedia. I'll have to check and try to reproduce this and find a solution.

The latest issue I'm having is substantial lag througout although it's most noticable when skipping tracks. When I skip tracks (also pause/change menus) the next song starts playing immediately but the entire skin locks up for ~8 seconds before I can do anything else. I don't think it's lack of processing power, DFX4.0 was lightning fast even when I had a 15k+ playlist on the go.

Hardware wise it's a dualcore atom 330 (i945GC) with 2GB of ram.

Video of the the lag I'm experiencing. With hindsight Daft Punk might not have been the best artist to have playing! It might sound like it's skipping at times but the audio is playing as it should throughout the vid.

I am experiencing the same problem on my atom as well. Same setup, 2gigs of ram xp3. Not sure if you are running xp or w7. 2 - 3 seconds of delay, sometimes more when moving through screens and songs.

I had this same lagging problem on my Dell D600 laptop also. I did an uninstall of DFX and reinstall and that seemed to fix it. "Fingers crossed"

Yes that solved my issues too. Uninstalled winamp/dfx/riderunner and deleted [documents and settings/user/app data/rrmedia] (somethnig like that) the riderunner folder and RRmedia files in the music directory, then rebooted and went through install procedure again. Everything is working as it should now!

Can anyone point me to some reading material on getting mobilepone.net working? I assume its listed as "Phone" in the available menu buttons, correct?

I've done all of lambo's instructions to a T, but when I get in DFX5 and try to click the dropdown phone list I get something like Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

First, let me congrats you guys in on this project! DFX5 is looking gooood.

Now, one problem related to DFX5.

When I'm using IGuidance 4.0 and using the layout with the music info, it switches to the layout without the music info on it's own, back and forth every so often by itself. Any ideas?

This isnt really an issue with the skin, but anyone know how to get Media player to pause the line-in when IG speaks?

Again, great job guys. $ is on the way.
