Does your internet radio for DFX use its own instance too? Or is it just sonic's and Mitch's that do?

It looks like the instance for pandora is showing on the right not hidden?

When I disable pandora the visuals work ok for mp3 and webradio,,, but when I re-enable it in plug manager again, the vis don't work. But they do work for pandora only now?

Now this is just in your skin,,,,

I did not enable Mitch's internet radio plug, because I use yours.


In other skins I use Mitch's plug and the vis won't work in it either as long as I keep pandora enabled.

You may be right, this could be the pandora plug.

Ok I think I found the right file. There were 5 files that came up when I searched for skin.ini
Under [MISC] I set DfxDebug=true

Attached is the debug file, sorry I missed that last time! I can't see anything in the debug file which looks odd...

There are no issues with the default skin loading, just having issues with media stuff.

RR uses its own instance also?
I can also see my mp3s playing back in Winamp's song title window after minimizing RR.
.....So does that mean that RR is using Winamp for playback of my music or not?

Sorry I'm just trying to get a hold on this AVS problem not working when switching between plugs and music players, without having to disable a plug to use the AVS eye candy.

I don't know if this will work but,,,,

maybe a solution like disable/enable automatically the pandora/webradio plug upon entering music (mp3) player screen.

RR will use whatever player you have set to use WMP/iCrap/Winamp/Foobar/ect for its main audio backend player. Both the RRPandora and Mitches InternetRadio plugins both use a seperate player instance, and i can't even tell you if they hard coded them to winamp only or they go by what ever player you have set in RR???? I'm not the one to ask on either one of those fronts. And Mitch would just say...easy solution, just use visu's. LOL

dont use visu's

pandora and my webradio use WINAMP, WINAMP is required
(nothing to do with rr's use of winamp, but i bet somethings maybe not as smooth)
also visu handling is tricky to begin with... i cant say if it works right in pandora...
i had to put LOTS of code to get it working in RRWebRadio

Ok,..... I'll only use visuals when playback of stored music, still going to have to disable Pandora to use this feature though. Oh well.

I guess I'll ask sonic if this is possible to achieve,,,,,
so the AVS can run fluid entering/exiting music, and the Pandora plug without having to go into plugin manager to disable it.

Posted back on Page 184 about RRfusion. Doesn't work anymore with DFX for me. Works fine with carwings. The brain isn't connecting with DFX anymore.
