I have attached the debug file as well. Thanks for your help.
**Edit: I was able to figure out what to do. I had to re-read the dfx dll plugin check section again...I just ran the regme.bat file and that work!
Hello everyone. I am in the software stage of building my first car pc, and I have run into a problem that I can not find the answer to.
I am running windows 7 32 bit with all updates and .net 4. I installed the latest edition of RR. I am attempting to get rr pandora to run. I have installed the app from the app mart, but it does not show up under plugins in RRconfig. When running the DFX skin when I press the pandora button it goes to the pandora website and has no DFX buttons and is asking for login info. I am experiencing the same thing in the stock Carwins skin. I have been searching the threads for days and can not find an answer. Any help will greatly be appreciated.
P.s. This skin is awesome!!
OK, I've got the latest DFX 9/1/12. I updated using the Built-in updater.
I no longer have playlists showing up while I go to the "Manage Playlist" screen. The skin that is loaded is audioplaylistload.skin. The last line shown in Skintool is SETPATH;D:\Music\Playlists\ That's my playlist path.
I have Win7 64Bit. I've tried carwings, and I see playlists.
I've checked the playlists path. I've checked to ensure that the playlist file type .m3u is included in the Audio file types. I'm using RR 8/31/12.
Anybody got any ideas?
Mmmm... I would have said that maybe your playlists are m3u8's but you said you see em in carwings, so that can't be it. I just checked here (W7 32) and I get my playlists. Open up that skin file and see if it looks OK. You get lists in other screens right?
The pandora that comes in the skin, is/was our attempt to add it to the list of features of the skin, long before RRPandora was around. That is why its taking you to the site, via an embedded app. I have briefly messed with the RRPandora plugin and have it working in the carwings skin but we have yet to skin it. I just also found an issue with it and i'll report it to sonic.

Currently since I can't see playlists, to open music I go to Music:Browser, then select a folder, because that's what mode it is in. Then I hit "play select", and it plays the folder. If there is a folder (Artist) that has several CD's then if I hit "Sel" on the left side, I see all their albums (folders). But if I hit "Sel" on one of the albums I get an empty list. Tha might be because I'm in folder mode. If I change "Browse Mode" to "Songs", it queries the database, then comes back with a list of songs. I can tell by the way my folders are arranged that it is not all the songs in the database. It's only the first song from each album.
Thanks Blue. I will continue to trouble shoot in Carwings, and maybe post in the RRPandora thread. Y'all rock!!!!

How do I backup the 1-5 rating playlists?
I use robocopy to sync my music folder over my network with my NAS and it seems to reset my 1-5 playlists after doing this because the folder changes so much it requires me to rebuild the database. Are there playlist files I can backup or no?
Also, why does the layout type keep defaulting to the album cover? I change it to the Mazda logo with the Logo + Compass layout and it always defaults after rebooting or power down and turning it back on later
I still can't long press a button on the main screen to change it to something else. I keep getting the menu error (this started happening after a "fresh" install, even though I know the installers for the riderunner program and DFX aren't quite bug-free...
OK, looking at the audioplaylistload.skin file. I notice at the bottom under [Lists] there is a line:
So in skintool, while on that screen I go to "Variable" and type in "PlaylistPath" then hit "Get Contents". It returns "D:\Music\Playlists", which is my playlist path. So then I type "AUDIOFILES" and hit "Get Contents" and it gives me "$audiofiles$.cda. Is that correct? I expected to see ".m3u,.m3u8,.mp3,.wma" which is what is in my "Audio File Types" in my "Audio Player and Paths" screen in RRConfig.
Does this give any clues?
I did the same thing in Carwings. AUDIOFILES there returns ".m3u,.m3u8,.mp3,.wma" as expected.
