That would make sense, and I do understand the error. I know exactly where to look and see why this is occuring. It's something in the skin plugin and it has been there awhile so I don't know why it would be acting up..

I did use the built in updater the other day. I needed 7 updates I think. Is that the proper way to update? Or should I redownload the whole thing and re-install. Are there any other tests I can do for you to help?
That is the right/only way to update. Not much you can do...
Can someone point me to how to get weather to work on the current version of DFX? The RR faq is obsolete, and I haven't seen where the weather plugin is located by searching.
The current one is the one that comes with RR via the options, see this thread, but mostly just the first post.

Works now! Thanks!
So are there any suggestions on how to fix the playlist problem? Can I force a value into the AUDIOFILES variable or something like that?

FIXED - Playlists not showing in Manage Playlists screen (skin plugin error)
Get it in the skin updates
When you are syncing, its also syncing your RRMedia Db, assuming that you have one in your NAS music folder. Which shouldn't be an issue b/c RRMedia doesn't care about the path that leads up to the music, only the contents past the set music path. So you could say update your NAS music, open RR in the house, do a rescan to update the db and then when you do your music sync, it would also update the RRMedia db file. Only thing would be that you'd need to sync the DB from the car to the house before doing your rescan else you would loose the changes done in the car. There is a Rate.in_ file found in your music path that RRMedia uses as a backup when rating songs. It will use that file when doing either a fresh or rescan to add the ratings back into the DB for normal usage, in case of say db corruption or something and you need to delete the Db, you wont loose your ratings.
Only a couple of things come to mind. Are you using the "Auto Day/Night Color Switch" skin setting? That could be changing the Theme and causing the loss of the menu setup.Quote:

Was there any clue that I did something that got me into that state?
