I looked for this setting change everywhere "Then goto------> Media Library > Online Media > (Click on button on bottom right) Modify Preferences > and make sure Automatically refresh listings in the background is checked. " in WinAmp 5.57 and I could not find it. So, I looked at another version of winamp 5.13 and it's in that one. So, I still could not get it to work with only the first setting above. I will try all of the settings in Winamp again. However, I do have the global setting as mentioned.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks for your help

Wow, this is a tough one. This should of worked with settings I posted. The only thing I can suggest is go into plug in manager and disable and then re-enable again, then restart RR. Again, good luck. Sorry that I couldn't help more. Maybe someone else on this forum may chime in and help...

There are only a few to choose from, but you can purchase more. I highly recommend Neospeech's "Julie"
    Thanks....

    Hi Guys,

First Post. Firstly, great skin. I've worked out most of the modifications required to get all the stuff going by myself including the Garmin fix, and even managed to get my Microtech ECU software completely embedded. Also, for those of you interested, I found an easy way to switch between RR and explorer shells using the registry setting. I dont understand why people say it is such a pain.

Now, onto my question. I've been reading almost all the posts through this thread (very long lol) and was wondering how people are going about enabling the voice activation.
Are there people that have hooked up a switch inside there car to send a command so they can use their voice? I saw one guy talk about it, but no explanation of how.

Any ideas would be great guys as i'm stumped!

Yeah I understand the mic does. But i'd like to hook up a physical switch of some sort insinde the car, to do whatever occurs when you press the mic. Though some ppl might have already worked this one out. Perhaps some usb button... actually, i know of a good thing now that i think of it....
At work we have these usb mice. Its just a circle shape that you can spin clockwise or anti (could be used as volume dial) and can be configured to execute something once pushed in. I guess if i could work out what i need to execute once its pressed, that would work.

Yes, there are several ways, which you can learn about in both of the RRVoice threads and the last few pages of the DX4 thread.

I'm using a wireless mouse with Jebus' RRMousetrap plugin. The buttons on the mouse can be configured, but the default setting in the plugin is that a push of the middle mouse button prompts RRVoice to listen. It works great. The middle mouse button doubles as volume control. The left and right mouse buttons are set to perform normally, though they can be changed as well, and I've found that it's quite nice to have traditional left button/right button mouse control available in my car. In my opinion, the mouse is the cheapest, easiest and most flexible way to do it.

Kbreeden thanks heaps. I had a feeling i should start looking back in the RRVOICE thread...
Not too keen on putting a mouse in the car atm, however by the sounds of it i'll just need to get this thing, set up the button click to emulate the middle mouse button click, and turning left and right to adjust volume, then i can mount it in the dash somewhere.

Once again thanks for your help, i'll get pictures of what i'm talking about and post them.
