Okay thanks blue
Also, John or Blue, I'm having problems mapping button controls with the CarPc JoyconEX specifically to DFX (I can get them to work outside of DFX with say winamp, however). How can I set up the bottom buttons (menu, previous track, forward track, play/pause, etc.) to work with the keyboard so I can map my Sony RM-X11M to those keyboard buttons? In other words, how do I set up say the "B" key on the keyboard to serve as the bottom button for "skip track", "V" for "previous track" and say "X" for "play/pause"? I'm assuming there is a way to do this by putting in commands in the extetbl.ini or something, right?
Okay thanks blue
Add these to your keytbl.ini file:
/, 'b' key for next track
/, 'v' key for the prev track
/, 'x' key for play/pause toggle
Sweet thanks. You da man! :-)
Yes, you set the new setting wrong, I said to set it to false to keep the search method like the previous version. You had it set to true, which was the same as the default if the setting isn't found.
Then searching under say artist 'mars' brings up any thing that contains the word 'mars' in the artist name, and same for any other other search opts
Doh! I am such an idiot, I read what you meant wrong! (It's like texting someone, you can mean something that can be taken the wrong way) Thanks Very Much Blue, I will go and do that in the car now....
Can I ask how far away the update is with the delete song button please?
I'm having random CPU spikes, text is randomly disappearing, screens are not updating properly, some take a number of seconds to display... Updating gps info on the speedo screen is bout 5-30 seconds delayed....
dfx4 worked perfectly fine..consistent 1-2% cpu load even under heavy use...
I'll be heading back to dfx4 on my daily driver and tinker with dfx5 on my dev system...
Edited to add: fresh install of XP, fully updated drivers/flash/directx. fresh install of RR/DFX5, Intel PDC T5850, 3GB DDR2, 250GB HD - so no corruption/speed issues.
Thanks for all the hard work guys! If there is anything you want me to test out, I can.
