JohnWPB, I have installed DFX5 on two different XP computers and still cannot get the CD Changer to remember each disk's last track. Each disk goes back to track 1.
Since you say yours is working correctly, what may I have missed?
Doesn't seem to be an RRVoice issue. Still no resume with or without voice.
I'll look into this real quick tonight. I'll probably end up posting a slightly updated RRMedia file that will have additional debuging info to help narrow the issue down.
Good morning guys. Here in Greece now is 8:00 in the morning. haha. Now i've download the DFX 5.0 and setup on a machine with Win XP micro SP3 latest RR and SAPI 5.1. Everything works fantastic....except Voice. When voice starts there is an error ActiveX Component can't create object. Is there a way to fix this Error?
Thank in advance :typing::typing::typing:
Just an FYI:
I was having high CPU usage on the in-wall computer in my living room. It is running on an old Dell laptop. After some trouble shooting, I found it to be the main menu clock that has the date and the "flip" numbers. I switched to a different clock and went from 50%-60% CPU usage when idle, to now be at around 15%. I have the latest version of flash installed, that is not the problem. Some flash items are written better than others :) Some have no timers in them, some have the frame rate set insanely high and that then just slams the CPU.
I don't notice this on my main desktop machine here, but on a slower machine it can be a CPU killer for sure.
If you are having high CPU usage, try switching the main menu to something with a play list, 2D logo or something and see if that drops your CPU usage down.
Just thought I would share that with the rest of you.
i have 2 more questions guys.
First when i try to shut down pc from RR menu or to exit RR then the program sticks. is there a way to avoid this?
and the second is can DFX 5.0 support Destinator 9.0?
that's it and sorry if i become tedious...
thanks in advance...:typing::typing::typing:
Replace your RRMediaDb.exe with this one(save w/o the .txt ending) and turn on the RRMedia debugging. Instructions Here
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with dfxspeak.exe, every time you start RR appears to me
"Run-time error '429 'ActiveX component can not create object" was DFX5.dll
recorded correctly.
How can you solve?
Thanks to all
Are you sure that its dfxspeak that is giving you the problem? There is error trapping in that exe so don't think i could be that. What RideRunner version are you running?
