Sorry about the delay on the hold up...
Blue ZX3...is there anyway to resolve my startup greeting problem without reinstalling DFX5? Will "chkdsk" revert my user GUI edit?
By the way, this skin is awesome....
Thanks in advance!!!
No, will not. I'm not certain why changing the windows shell to RR would effect that. Its not something I do in my setup but would have to try, to see if your issue can be reproduced, otherwise it would be something more specific to your system/setup.
Here is the DETAILED fools proof method for changing the user default GUI...can't fubar your system if you follow the directions to the letter in the 4th post...guaranteed!!!....
And the fools proof method to auto starting apps in RR on the edited user logon that the skin won't launch....
Hope these babyfied instructions helps someone else out there!!!
PS: Let me know if the issue is reproduced when you get around to trying the GUI edit Blue ZX3!!!
Not exactly, it is getting the correct track/time from RR to use for saving but there isn't enough debug logging I think to see further into the issue. I don't know if it not being saved correctly or being pulled/sent to rr wrong. I will continue to look and add some extra debugging to see why its not working correctly for you in yet another updated exe.
Not using near as many features as she has but she's working fine. Just discovered how to tether the computer to my phone so i suspect a whole new world will open-up (weather, internet radio, web browser) - or more bugs!
often folks just post about problems - just wanted to break that cycle.
I searched and search and haven't been able to locate anything on this ,
I'm using a Mimo 720-S USB monitor and when I load up DFX 5 the splash screen is cut off.
I'm running 800 x 480, is there anyway to adjust this..? It's not a big deal really. As I don't usually plug the monitor in until the puter is up and running and don't see it usually..
But when I do.. It's annoying..
Anything ... ?
I love your skins, but the OSK issue is the only thing stopping me from moving my PC from my desk, into my car! As long as I know that you are aware of the problem and are working on a fix, I'm prepared to wait patiently. :)
