S&T's flickers when in full screen mode in RR, making it unusable in full screen mode. Has anyone figured out how to enable S&T's to go into full screen mode inside the RR skin without it flickering yet?:noidea:
Ok, got a bit of time to work on some stuff in the skin. The patch is coming along nicely, and Blue has been working on that. It will update the skin to the latest version, and will make a backup of any files changed when it is applied. This way, of you have made any changes to the skin, they will not be lost. You can just copy over your changes from the backup folder to the main skin files.
Next, I have been working on making the Internet radio skin a LOT better :) With Internet becoming more accessible in the car, it is a great feature to have.
The main Internet Radio look has not changed, but there is a lot of new stuff "under the hood" so to speak. When you press and hold any of the buttons, you are presented with a genre list in the left of the next screen. Selecting a genre from the list, will show the stations for that genre on the right. Selecting one, will immediately start playing that station. If you like it, going back to the Internet radio screen, the button you pressed and held, will now be the preset for that station. There are around 300 stations to choose from. If you want to add one of your own, you can open the "StationsList.ini" and add the name and URL for the station under one of the genre sections. When you start RR, it will then be available under the genre that you added it under as a choice for the presets.
Some of the station names are long, and will not fit completely in the button area. I got that covered ;) Simply press and hold the button and choose "Rename" from the pop-up. You can then edit the station name to anything you like.
As stations come and go, I will try to keep a current list of radio stations. Simply copying a new StationsList.ini into the folder will be all that is needed to keep everything up to date.
Here are a couple of screen captures:

do something about that select label lol...
My DFX is running fine. However, in the background there is the following error:
Run-time error '429'
ActiveX component can't create object.
The greeting message doesn't play, I have disabled it, but I still get the error.
Any suggestions? I'd rather have the greeting enabled, but its not the end of the world if its not.
wow thats awesome john... internet radio is the best part of my carpc, but it was always troublesome to keep buttons updated and links working.
thanks a million!
That is a GOOD idea'er.....
