I'm having an issue with iGuidance 2009 and DFX. When I open iGuidance from within DFX it always opens in its own window rather than within the frame of DFX. When I exit out of iGuidance then I'm back to the nice frame in DFX.
I've tried several config combinations without correcting this. I've tried searching with no luck.
Could someone point me in the right direction?
Check in RRConfig to make sure GPS Window Name is set to "iGuidance" (no quotes)
That did it, Thanks!!
Has anyone mounted the Andrea microphone in their car? If so how? Also, can it be mounted off-center as long as it's pointed at the user?
i took apart my andrea and mounted each mic in the dash. one hole on each side of the instrument cluster. it works great.
i think the biggest problem i have is my voice itself. i have more of a "singers voice" where it can change tone and volume so much that it can be hard at times for the computer to recognize me. like in the morning, it can be more gavely and coarse, while in the afternoon its more normal and louder so it works better.
I don't have a problem what so ever, and my Andrea is mounted on top of my rear view mirror. With or without T-tops on. Works perfectly every time.
Great info on the Andrea, thanks! I'll be ordering soon.
Problem: Has anyone run into problems with the hidden button on the main menu page to minimize DFX5/RR? When I do that RR doesn't show up in the task bar so I can restore it. RR still shows as a running process but I can't get it to restore or maximize again through Task Manager, so I have to kill it and restart it.
This worked fine previously but I've updated RR and DFX so not sure which is the culprit.
Has RRvoice been fixed to work on Win7? I am rebuiling my car pc and would like to run 7 but i know RRvoice include had problems with WIN7
