Ok, I have typed format c: and now I cannot even run Ride Runner any more? I have tried rebooting and it says "Insert System Disk" what does that mean??? where have I gone wrong??? ;-)
Wicked! I have got it to delete the song permanently & RR auto moves to the next track....just for the ultimate tidyness, is there a command I can enter that will also remove it from the database as it still thinks the song is there?
MANY MANY Thanks for this, it has been something I have wanted for a long time :=)

No, but I'll consider it a good suggestion to implement in the RRMedia v2.0 when I work on it some more.

I am using RR latest version also applies to the prevoius version. Skin is DFX5 lastest version. On startup I hear pops and clicks but no greetings. In the background is a popup labeled DFXSpeak activeX error '429' cannot create object. Applications outside of RR do vocalize okay. I originally posted on this Nov. 2010.
Any ideas on how to correct this?
Let's try some info: OS&(full/stripped?) and any other info that you can think might help narrow down your issue.

no word that i know of. dfx5 has a patch coming, but john has been taking time off deservedly. im not sure how far along jebus is with getting rrvoice to work in win7 either, but i assume he is also taking time off because last i heard it wouldnt be that hard to get working.
i too am waiting for this though. i havent used xp in years and it still bothers me i have to. the little frustrations ive always had with that os are still there....
OK this might have to do with a plug I have. I don't think this has to do with RRMedia at all. Will test to make sure........
Assuming that by "can't press any of the buttons" your referring to anything having to do with the RRMedia, as I would assume that message is from the main RRMedia, and when that crashed, you won't get any response as that is the "work horse" of the plugin. If you try doing same with the same set of songs on say another disk, does it crash same song/spot? Looking for the issue that you can repeat, and then its much easier to look for whats causing the error.

Blue, thanks for the quick response. I thought this error was caused by another plug, that uses GPS and because I didn't have my puck hooked up with iGuidance4. So if I'm reading you right, this might not be the case then? Being this error popped up on the main RRMedia screen? This never happened before I updated RR to new march version, and updated WinampPro from 5.13 to 5.601. I wanted to stay current with changes that Mitch makes with RR's updates and he uses Winamp 5.601, so it was only natural to update Winamp to latest version. Do I have to add .m3u8 ext. to the list of the music section in RRConfig? I added this on another PC, I don't know if this helped or not but, I didn't get that error and also did not have iGuidance installed either. That's why I thought it was another plug. I think I'll add it the list and delete RRMediaDB and rescan to see if this fixes problem. This is the same songs/music collection that is on both machines. Tnx.
