Just briefly got away to test again. Yes, RRMediaDB.exe unloaded from task manager's program list after I clicked OK button.

What do i need to have handsfree in this skin? en what do i need to get te nav to work?

I guess I don't get how to unlock this skin? Somehow I locked the skin and cant unlock it. I looked at the help file which said to press the upper left of the screen to unlock but nothing happens. I can't find the back door, "Press the display area, just above the number 3 button to exit the screen", there is no number 3 button. I just see the default screen of the skin and no way to enter the pin or get to the keypad to enter the skin. It's as if the screen is completly locked no matter where I try to press. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

you just gotta drill a hole in the upper right of your screen and insert a plastic straw, which acts like a key. i know it sounds weird but it works. theres no hack yet to remove the hole in your screen once youre done though, so just be weary.

Reboot the computer and then restart RR. The password screen should then come up. The default password is 1234.

I tried reading this thread to see if anyone else has had my problem before (and perhaps it is solved) but I gave up after 15 pages...of 81.
I am running win 7 and RR 2/2011. I loaded this skin and it locks when I switch to any screen except the music player. I can go to the music player and back but clicking any other button causes the skin to lock and my PC needs rebooting.


Edit: I was sure I had tried this but rebooting after the install fixed the lockup issue.

New problem. Neither the global settings or the [change color] screen will come up. They both work on my home PC when I installed to test. I updated to the 3/1/2011 version of RR to see if that fixed it but it doesn't. Any ideas?

Edit: AKK! This messed up my install of DFX 4.0. Now neither work. About 4 hrs spent on this and now nothing works. Was I supposed to uninstall 4.0 before installing this? I am hoping that is why 5.0 doesn't work. Oh well, off to flail my arms some more.
