Maybe I got my WE's mixed up?? LOL. After today, I have off the next two days so I'll def have this done/out b4 the WE!! No joke!

Ack! I just found out that XM (and I suppose Sirius also) changed their channel lineup today. The good thing is, now both satellite radio stations should have the same channel lineup.

Will the skin update include this new change to the channel lineups?

That is usually a RR thing, not a skin thing. Mitch is working on getting the new logos for XM and Sirius into the code for the June release, however it wouldn't surprise me that there may be a mid May release since its a bit important.

BTW, I am not speaking for Mitch.

I know this was covered early on and not met with much excitement but here comes another 800X480 question. I got a great deal on a MIMO USB powered 7" touch panel for an in home RR application. It's mounted in the exterior wall outside my house on the back deck and controls my outdoor speakers with RR

The screen however, is natively and ONLY 800X480 Resolution. I never attempted DFX on that res before. I changed ini. for show 800X480 and the only cosmetic flaw really was the CPU and Volume %'s being cut off. Then I entered the music browser and found that it doesn't display the files/songs in either browser (standard/database). Has anyone here had success with 800X480? Thanks...

First, besides just changing the general.ini you need to rename the bottombuttons.txt to say bottombuttons_600.txt and then rename the bottombuttons_480.txt to bottombuttons.txt

NOTE: I just noticed that we forgot to keep a copy of the "BottomButtons_480.txt" in the skin root folder, now fixed. You can also find a copy in the "DFX5\Scripts\BackupUser\User1" folder.

There is no problem with lists and changing the skin size. Sounds like you have a musicpath setting issue somewhere.

Bit confused. In DFX5 root I see bottombuttons.txt Now you are saying I need to rename that to bottombuttons_600.txt, then import the bottombuttons_480.txt to the root, and rename it to bottombuttons.txt? Correct?

If so, I did, and it didn't seem to fix it and I now have the weird 01234 font problem at the bottom buttons.

also a side note, If the media your playing is in a network location and you are using RRMedia, you will highly benifit by modifing some RRMedia settings.

In the RRMediaDb.ini change:

[General]
TempDbLoc=<full path to a local folder>\RRMediaDb.db
TempRtLoc=<full path to a local folder>\Rate.in_

Then move/copy the RRMediadb.db file to that location. Reading/writting to/from the db will be greatly impoved as now is local verse over the network. Make sure that those two settings are set using the full path + file name

Thanks for that tip on the above RRmedia settings. It is a "Mapped Drive", will this still apply?
