That's why I said that having to press something physically may not be an oversight. I'd kinda thought of that but it would be sweet though. Even sweeter would be the ability to use a bluetooth headset and somehow get the call button to activate the Voice recognition. Thanks for the explanation.

This could be used to close a circuit on the serial port, Fusion Brain ect to trigger the system to start listening with a remote control:

Unless you want to be a beta tester, I recommend waiting till the next patch is out within the week taking care of some bugs and issues.

Do you think the Garmin OSK transparency issue could get some love in the next patch? Im really hanging for this so I can get my system off the bench and into my car.

I wouldn't mind this either...

I'm almost to the point where I can try to figure it out, but right now, it's a lower priority over hearing anything at all (been slowly upgrading my stereo system). What little time I did try to get this working, I didn't have much luck on getting this to work (based on the GMPC OSK instructions in that thread).

Can anyone confirm AVS Visualization for winamp no longer functions in Windows 7?

Some notes about the next update, not the current update 5.1...

As some of you have read in the RRVoice thread, we will be adding our very own, highly customized and integrated voice control into the DFX skin. We don't mean any harm to Jebus nor his awesome effort to bring us RRVoice in the first place! This is along the same lines as there would probably be no Ride/Road Runner if there was no MediaCar. This will be best for both of us, as we won't have to ask him to add things that are more skin related to a plugin that should be more of a general RR plugin that can be used by any skin and at the same time, allows us to much better integrate it into the skin for the best user experience possible. In our take of voice control, pending further testing, it will be able to use the RRMedia plugin and its database so that doing a recan of music will both update the Db and allow DFXVoice to use the newly imported songs all in one single scan. There will be the option for those that aren't using the RRMedia plugin, to scan their files by either file/folder name or tags.

avs 2.81 is being shipped with winamp 5.61... its not gonna work
why they reverted from 2.83 is unknown to be, avs is buggy app in general
if u drop in 2.83 vis_avs.dll, it will work
