Simplistique Skin Release - download and screenshots

Read thru a few of the previous posts in this thread and a few of these issues are addressed. This is only the beta of the skin at the moment. "Settings" does not yet do any thing (I finished this section at home today as it happens). When I'm finished, I will release in full. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate for all the various input/user interaction methods - my skin is for touchscreen devices only I'm afraid, unless you modify it yourself.

Getting quite into this clock thing now !!

Since doing your initial one i have made a few amendments which are more in-tune with the Simplistique skin.

I don't want to hi-jack this thread with clock things, i wonder if a moderator would like to make a sticky or a new sub-forum under 'Road Runner' just for clocks?

Let me know what you think of the new layout, is it too much or about right.

First off, beautiful skin. Quality.

Second, this is my first post as I usually just read.... anyways. My question to you is how did you get the active window on the Iguidance piece to be so minimal. Mine embeds, but still has the Border with the resize options. Yours simply has the File-Tools-View and is thus much cleaner. I'm not sure if this is a Windows 98 setting, or something I should change in the Skin editor? Either way, could you perhaps list your settings in regards to Iguidance screen?

This is something which annoys me actually. All you have to do to get rid of it is to put IG in full screen mode. It will then embed in RR like in the screenshots. HOWEVER, what you get instead is a floating toolbar which is equally annoying. You have to close this separately. So you have to options:
1. have a full screen mode with floating toolbar that you have to close
2. put up with the docked toolbar
(3. use IGSkinner or equivalent to sort it out)

After weeks of number 1, I've resorted back to number 2 as its easier. Soon to be trying option 3.

I really like this skin a lot, great work, it's been growing on me a LOT recently.

A) My winamp AVS doesn't seem to be positioned very well, does this have anything to do with the skin? or is it more of a RR issue?

B) Is there a way to have the center of the main menu display the AVS rather than just the logo pic? To me that's the only thing extra I'd really want it to do, is have some sort of small visualization or album art of what's playing running center in the main menu. Is this possible to do on my own somehow?

Thanks for the reply!

Oddly enough, option 1 still produces a docked toolbar (for me). Iguidance as a standalone app will display fullscreen sans the toolbar (with the floater). If in RR I select the maximize button on the tool bar, RR still keeps it embeded the same way with the docked toolbar. I also added the "/ F" to the .exe line in both the skin and the RR.ini to issue the Fullscreen command, but to no avail. Docked toolbar sux, I need to get rid of it.....

When I get home from work, I will look into option 3.
