I think this is one of the best skins I have seen and I plan to use it. Good work!
I just changed the Windows Appearance to match the colours of the skin and made the toolbars etc larger. I dont have the actual skin colours (hex values) to hand at the moment (actually the orange colour is #FF6600 [255,102,000 decimal]from the top of my head). I will release the Windows theme I use with the next release of the skin if that helps.

You can edit this by using the SkinEditor app - change the Arial Narrow font used to regular Arial and it should look better. The LCD font may also look too narrow - see if you can find a wider version of it. If I find one I will put it in the next release of the skin.
I have put the font I used for the menu items in the skin download zip file (above - first post) (it's called HandelGothel or something like that). You can use this in windows to make it all match. I will hopefully be releasing the Windows theme (colours/fonts etc) with the next release of the skin.
Where in London are you from?
UPDATE of skin's progress
--------------------------
- I just got my FM working now so I will be able to get the skin completed for that shortly.
- The Utilities section of the skin is just a matter of me getting off my lazy ar$£ and getting round to finishing it.
- I just got hold of a compatible phone for the PhoneControl.NET app so you can expect to see this skinned in the next release. This means the "Utilities" menu button will be replaced by "Telephone". The utilities will then be accessed from a button that will replace the moon icon (night mode). Night mode is accessible from the shutdown (power button icon) menu anyway.
ETA: 1-2 weeks
Thanks for your support guys!

Hey Lloydy, great tips. I've been forced to use 800x600 anyway. I've kinda got a smack in the gob using 800x480 as my video card doesnt' support it, and my case doesn't really allow for a video card to be insterted, unless I want to use a flexi-riser card and take the card outside the casemaybe!
This is by far the best skin I've seen. I've been looking for other options, and it's pretty much set the benchmark for me. So a desrveredfor you!
I'm in Surbiton (Zone6). What's your phd on?

Yeah - I went back to 800x600 as widescreen was too messy with my Xenarc screen (even after ages of trying to update my BIOS so that my onboard video card would support it!).
Im in Central. My PhD is on...
Extract from my website:
Since October 4th 2005 I have been researching towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree within the Department of Electronic & Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering & Design at Brunel University. My research is entitled "Mobile Communication Networks". I will be actively involved in at least two European Commission IST projects namely PLUTO (since January 2006) and INSTINCT World (Spetmeber 2006) (click here to view the first INSTINCT project). My research involves the investigation and design of a Quality of Service (QoS) system and mechanism for mobile end-user terminals to report signal quality when 'transmitter diversity' is in use with the forthcoming DVB-H broadcasts, utilising wireless communication services such as WiFi, GPRS (GSM), UMTS (3G) and the forthcoming WiMax (4G). The mobile end-terminals will include PDAs, mobile phones, laptop computers, tablet PCs, in-vehicular 'infotainment' systems, portable handheld games consoles, portable televisions et al. My research also involves a detailed investigation into end-user terminal user interfaces (UI) to redesign and evolve the current interface types to use non-proprietary vector-scaled graphics and animation allowing relatively low-memory and low-powered devices, over narrowband (low bitrate) service connections, access to media services. The designed interface system is then being further developed to create an innovative 'one size fits all' approach to UI rendering enabling media service broadcasters to utilise an end-user UI which will be compatible across all various end-terminal display types and sizes.
Thank you for the compliments!

Hey, I just wanted to say i love your skin. Its great. Its easy to use and strait forward. Keep up the great work.
When using the skin i noticed that the mute button does not turn orange when pressed like the other buttons do.
And also is there any way to change the dimensions of the visualization screen so that i can make it a little bigger? or is that enbedded into the skin?
If you made the visual screen a little bigger it would make it so much better.
Thanks for all you hard work and such a great skin.
