There's a skin in there for Map Monkey

Open the menu.skin and change the GPS button to point to "GPS" instead of the Iguidance skin. As long as you've set up Map Monkey as your GPS app in RRConfig it should all be fine.

SORRY i am really a newbeeee...

Could anyone short explain to me how the load for internet explorer and mapmonkey should be?

Mine is: B06,540,212,300,80,"LOAD;DESTINATOR_GPS.skin;DESTI NATOR_GPS;C:\DestinatorApps\Map Monkey\mapmonkey.exe",""

MapMonk opens BUT not in the rr skin just as another program outside rr...

Make sure you have the correct window name in rrConfig. Should be MapMonkey (I think)

I'll run you through it mate

Open RRCOnfig, goto the GPS tab. You will then have options on what program you're using. Select Map Monkey and point RR to where the Map Monkey exe is located (C:\DestinatorApps\Map Monkey\Map Monkey.exe). You can also set the overspeed and volume mute options from here as well. There is also an FAQ on setting this up here: How do I setup my GPS Application ?.

Ok, so once you've done that navigate to the Simplistique skin folder. Within this folder you will see a file called menu.skin, open this up in NotePad. Scroll down until you see this line:

Change this to:

B06,540,212,300,80,"GPS",""

Now Map Monkey will load and embed perfectly.

As for Internet Explorer, you have to set up your Web Browser settings in RRConfig (you'll see you have the option to choose IE or Firefox and you have to set the address. By default this is C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ieexplore.exe). I don't have access to my version of RR at the moment so I'm doing this all off the top of my head. It's pretty straight forward tho.

I've just changed to map monkey in this skin, embeds fine, but in the upper right corner there is 4 green N/A signs, what are these for ?

probably infomation sent by the MapMonkey SDK with you haven't set up in MM yet.

ie speed, heading, GPS co-ords etc.

1. Location
2. Suburb (town, etc.)
3. ETA
4. ETR

thx, but how do I set ut this settings to display correctly. I have N/A signs on location paramets in my MM skin also. Dosen't look very good with 6 N/A signs when using my GPS.
