    Hey guys,

I know that Lloyd has been really busy and I wanted to set up a theme similar to what he had on his CarPC. Check this out and tell me if you like it. It's already set up as a Windows Theme, you just have to point your Windows Appearance to it.

couldn't someone with some skinning skills finish the phone integration. Someone allready made the radio skin, so with phone skin this skin would be pretty complete!

Just open the .jpg skin files in any picture editor (Photoshop; Photostudio; etc), highlight the colors you want to change, and then do bucket-fill with the accent color you like better. Then just re-save the files and put them in the Skin folder, or make a new Skin folder with an alternate name and just copy the other skin files into it changing only your new colored screens. It may be time consuming, but it's definitely not hard.

He picked orange because BMW interior lighting is orange and it compliments the BMW interior very well (and I agree - very OE looking).

    Fantastic Skin!!!!!

Wow! I was using LS.... until I found this skin! VERY well done! I have a Mitsubishi Eclipse, with custom blue-glow gauges installed. I spent the better part of 2 days changing one screen at a time. I have a TOTALLY new respect for you skinners out there! Just changing the colors, and making sure to keep the PSD layers all in order as to create the DOWN/OFF/ON versions.

(BTW my roomate LOVED the orange skin, as his Mini Cooper has the exact same colors as the text in your skin, right down to the orange dot-matrik fonts on his dash display)

I also added Icons to the buttons, as I tend to like visual cue's as well as text... plus it add's a bit more color to the screen.

Thought I would post a sample of some of the screens.

Almost forgot to mention, I have the same problem with the mute button. It does not turn orange when hovered over with a mouse, nor when pressed on a touchscreen. I have verified that the DOWN skin-image has the mute symbol as orange. This happens on the Main/Main2/Music screens

JohnWPB - Your skin looks very nice, but i think your big clock in the middle is spoiling it a little. Have a look at this thread New Road Runner Clocks/Logos (By Tissy), or alternatively http://www.wrx-carpc.co.uk

Being the designer of these clock modules i am slightly biased, but i use the Simplistique skin also as my only skin as you can see here http://www.wrx-carpc.co.uk/Photos/sl...Screen%202.jpg and the modules compliment the skin perfectly in my humble opinion.

Also with the new design of these modules, they are fully customisisable from front logo to colours used and of course with GPS data they display speed and compass heading. Have a look at the site and thread and download to see for yourself.

    Steve

    Looks Great!

Tissy, Hahaha I could NOT agree more! It just happens to be the only clock that I have happened along to fit into this skin. I did see the that thread and read it with great anticipation. However when I went to your site, they seem to be having some problems with the server or something. None of the links on the right are currently working, except for the RR link, and it reports the server is overloaded. [EDIT] Was able to get to the clocks by following another link on the page

I did the one up below in a few minutes using the RoadRunner one as a template, and a Mitz logo I googled, ran through Photoshop & changed to blue/beveled ect.... Looks great, but the silver border dosen't quite fit in.

JohnWPB - Just confirm you got it all working OK now. Starnge about the server, i have never had reports of it being overloaded before.

You may want to change the size of the clock module by editing the .menu file which contains the embedded information. That way it will sit better in the skin as i have depicted in the previous JPG link i sent you.

If you give me an RGB blue value you would like, on this occassion i will do a custom bezel colour for you. Also, if you send me the .PSD Mitsubishi file, i will add the .PNG to the other logos i have designed.

    Regards,

    Steve.

I've installed the theme and it looks great but got a few problems.

When I open Solitaire it opens in a new window and not in the skin.
When I open iGuidance It opens in de skin but the top bar is not the skin colour but still the ugly windows gray color. Also when I want to enter a destination the 'Go' button doesn't work.

I hope you guy's can please help me out here
