Please read first post!

I have just about finished my first skin "addition/alteration yadda yadda yadda". I have not done ANY skin work before, and this is a first for me. I am quite proficient in PhotoShop however, so that helps alot .

Basically I just ued the Simplistique skin as a theme to create a weather page, as one has not been created for the skin as of yet.

All the buttons on the skin presently work, with the exception of the volume slider. As I am new to skinning, I just cant seem to make it display the volume level. If you press either the left or the right, the volume will go up/down, just no indicator as of yet. Still working on that part.....

I have altered the original Simplistique color scheme to match my tastes, but anyone could simply use a paint bucket tool to change it back to the skins default gray background.

Let me know what you guys think.

Sure if someone wants it. I just do not want to step on lloydy's toes by posting a skin that someone else created. It really is just the Simplistique skin that has been recolored, and with icons on the buttons. The only thing I actually created myself was the weather skin & photo viewer (With RR"s newly added built in support) to fit the rest of the skin. Also I only re-colored the skins that I personally use. That leaves out the Phone, XM/Sirius, TV, Chat and a few others that are in the original colors.

Well Tissy just emailed me a couple variations of the clock with difffrent colors to better fit my color altered Simplistique skin. WoW! MUCH better! Many thanks to Tissy for taking the time to do that for me! Donation on it's way!!!! It really tie's it all in and makes it look very clean!

I am brand new to skinning myself. I remembered the Liquid Smoke/ LX skin had such a slider to jump anywhere in the song. I looked at that skin file and the following code is how it is done:
S02,399,440,390,35,403,440,390,35,H,02,"vslider2\p ointer.gif",013,"SONGPOS"

There is not really anywhere to put such a slider in the Simplistique skin, so it would be a complete rework of the audio skin. I love this skin, and will live without the bar myself. I guess you have a few options, figgure out where to put that bar on the audio player/browser pages, use a different audio player from a different skin, or a different skin all together. I hope this helps a little bit at least.....
