Welcome back Lloydy! Did you come through Phoenix? Not much to see here, but you said you came through Arizona. Sounds like a fun trip, but you came at the wrong time. Bimmerfest is next week! One of the largest BMW rally/car shows in the world! Santa Barbara California! Maybe next time. =)

Nah - was only in Arizona for like 30 seconds! Went to the Hoover Dam (after an amazing time in Vegas) where the border is and stood the Arizona side of the sign! The Bimmerfest sounds cool although it would only inspire me - and inspiration is the last thing I need with my diminishing funds at the moment!

anyway to get visualizations and a slider on the main menu?

Edit: i was kinda vague about the slider... would be nice to have a slider on the main menu to skip through a song... kinda like a progress bar... that u can also slide...

BTW I live in las vegas should have said u were coming through here before u left... we has a meet the same weekend u were here there is about 7-8 of us in las vegas...

hey lloydy do you use any of RR's built in GPS functions to show number of sat's aquired etc? I'm not sure where you would do it, but it would be neat to have that info.

I'll be looking into this but I think it might be a feature of MapMonkey - and I'm using iGuidance. Not sure though. I would also like this. A nice feature I'm looking into is to have the BMW badge on the menu screen change into a compass when pressed.

I've used other skins with iguidance that had this feature. I believe it's a built in feature of RR that will display some data about gps info. I'm no expert on skin building though (at least not yet =)). You'll need xport to do it though if you don't use that already because you'll have to split the gps com port so both RR and IG can read from it.

I think the BMW/Compass idea is killer.

Or for it to cycle from badge - clock - compass.

However, you do realise you would have to do it for a lot of car makes, particuarly Subaru !!

OK this sounds good if RR supports this on its own. And, Yeah XPort will be needed to split the GPS serial channel. I will look into this.

Yes, This was my intention.
Something like this was an idea for the rotation of views:
Badge / Clock / Compass / Temperatures (interior, exterior, PC temps etc.) / Weather info? / OBDII info? / etc. ...Suggestions?
And yes - each car logo would be needed. This shouldn't be an issue, however, as it's only a matter of changing the logo image in the flash file. I've already got the badge and clock fading nicely into each other. Working on the compass and temp stuff for now.

I don't think this has anything to do with your skin, but I'll try here first anyway. Sometimes when I push the back/menu button it will skip a screen and take me all the way to the "exit" menu and just freeze. I'll just to esc out of RR and rerun it. Has anyone else experienced this? It's happened enough for me to mention it here.
