Skin Release: BMW E36

Hi Robby,

I have recently finished installing CAR PC in my 325 IC with Road Runner and your E36 skin.

The Skin is simply superb and looks like factory installation.

The problem I am facing is: When I move the mouse pointer sometimes the screen shows RED CIRCLE traces while the pionter is moving. This is happening in the Road Runner application and in other windows applications too, when I move the pointer with touch screen or mouse.

Do you have any idea why this is happening?

Because roadrunner uses whats called Gestures to optionally control it without really having to look at the screen by dragging your finger around. Read about this feature in the RR docs or disable gestures in the RR setup if its bothering you. Its handy once you get use to them.

Hi. Robby. I having a bit of prob with Map Monkey using the skin. Map Monkey would not load when I set the skin to BMW E36 and it loads when I change the skin (ie BMV2). Please help.

Open the "ExecTBL.ini" in the BMW-E36 skin folder (non the one in RR folder) and be sure that the "GPS" command is not redefined with a custom command, if yes, delete or comment that

hi

somehow it uses comicsans fonts in the scrooling area, and they are all to big.
i have copied the Arialn.tff and the erikson fonts to windows/fonts.
and please help me here. cant get mapmonkey to work. i cant figure out the string in ExecTBL.ini.
the only 2 strings in ExecTBL.ini is DVD and Camera.

im using the latest eng.version.

Have you tried to execute mapmonkey in a different skin?

Hi,

Your skin is the best for beemer. I have the E39, and it fits perfectly.
Howeve I do have a problem with the pictures themself. They all looks compressed from sides (BMW logo is not rounded).
I am running it now on my notebook just for info.
