Thanks! I'm excited to get this out there and see what people think about using a skin without a main menu. To address the past few questions:
Transparency of base image. I can include that as an option. The menus will be tricky due to how it sets the down state of the image.
Browsing albums/artist: Right now I've just skinned a basic audio browser. I plan on skinning RRmedia at some point though.
Another update. :) I got the menu to work with >6 items without reloading the screen or skin once the More>> button is set. Once the button down status is worked out and a little bit of polish the beta will be released.
Video showing this is attached to 1st post. It was recorded with MS Expression Encoder 4 so hopefully people can open it.
I'm keeping an eye on this thread , this is turning out to be a very nice skin

Bumperoo. I added a video to the first post that shows more of the skin working. The menu is almost complete (the only thing that is holding back the beta). I need to fix a lag issue with the More/less commands since this has started to slow down once I added the stuff to track the indicators that act as menu buttons on the left. In the video it looks like there is lag on some buttons but its not. I just hovered the mouse there. The only lag I've seen is with the pressing of more/less to change menu states.

Functionality of the skin is almost complete (see list in first post) so I would like to open this up to a few beta testers. I would like to get those who have radio and or satellite radio. You will need RRextended and if you want to use the visualization in the video I will include it as well.
I would like to keep the beta group small at this point until I get feedback and then can release a public beta (with day skin). The initial beta will be sent out by the end of the week.

I'd like to give it a shot. I am about to a RR update on my truckPC (hit the 3 month nag screen) and I would like to include this skin with the update. I can share shock v7 beta with you to do a reciprocal beta test if you are interested.
I'm willing to try Shock 7 once I get nGen to you. I'm doing a sweep of the skin files now and I should be able to send you a download link by Saturday.
