New GDI+ art shown with backgrounds
Ok, well I started the art/code/concept skin known as 'Cube'
I am trying to make it the simplest skin ever to code and/or code for.
Everything is based on stacked squares.
The newer GDI+ art/code is using a 100x100 pixel grid, however this demo is a jpeg version, I'm releasing it for feedback on the concept.
Don't expect a lot, Main, Audio Player, Audio Browser, Gps and GPS fullscreen are done. The skin is coded to use iGuidanceUMPC.exe by default.
I figure tunes and nav are on my top automotive system priorities.
Its very quick, and very left hand drive friendly![]()
I have it hosted on http://www.shocknet.us/software.html
Feel free to download and test it out.
First 3 pix are the DEMO

Ah crap...lol...
...my skin uses a similar design for the buttons. Not quite as raised and slightly rounded, but very similar.
I guess great minds think alike.

instead of cubes I would call it blocks, or raise buttons.
Not really seeing a cube here.
I do have to be honest though, I like shock a lot better.

"It's called CODE because I don't want you to know"
Correct, you are seeing 18 cubes![]()
I like shock better too, however this is more a concept in OEM vehicle design. Something anyone could figure out how to use quickly.
