Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

I've been playing around with an RR skin concept for a while and just finished up the main menu screen and figured I'd share any see if there is any interest for me to continue on with it until it's fully functional.

Here is the current main.skin mock-up:

It gives a lot of screen space to MPG readings as they are my primary concern when driving. I also plan to use RRMedia as the music back-end once I actually start converting psd files in actual skins.

Let me know what you guys think.

Very nice indeed. I would definitely proceed with this one. The only thing i would change for my personal use would be the MPG because it looks at first glance like its the album info next to the art. But like you said MPG is your main concer so it looks great none the less.

Looks great. I like the layout. The MPG deal is useless for me since i dont have OBD but if you could cycle through to song info, that would be cool.

Also, the font in the topbar looks like its been squished vertically? or maybe its just to thick... something is odd about it.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Looks like I should continue pursuing development. I'll keep this thread updated as I move along, stay tuned!

love the look of the skin. If you wished to make it more flexible you could make the orange parts transparent and set your background to an orange color.... thus you have the ability to change the background to whatever color you want. But i definitely think you should carry on with it

The background is transparent actually. The grid-like pattern remains but underneath can be changed as the user see's fit.
