cmdRR-2 - Tall Skin - Beta Released

Check for a newer release this week. I guess maybe I could even have this moved to the released skins thread, as I think I've got the main functions figured out nicely.

I've gone through and tweaked MANY things that I had either wrong, or incomplete.
I've also since added the RRVM plugin, and finished up RRMedia.

Yesterday I started looking into the Radio/XM skins, but with the recent changes to RR I can't easily load the Radio module. I'll see what I can get figured out with Internet Radio and maybe port that over to the others. Still not sure about getting the top text to change to the current source and be formatted the correct way. Having a hard time wrapping my head around it.

I was also thinking of making the menus user-changeable, but that adds yet another layer to the way I've got things setup.

Fire me a beta and I'll work yhe top labels for ya. Also, week after next I should be able to wring out the Silabs/HD/XM radio skins for ya.

Okay, so I've updated the download link in the first post. Also updated the plugin support listed.

I've made a few tweaks throughout the skin, some not really noticeable, but will work with newer versions of RR. Still many areas to improve on, but overall I'm still happy with it.... really, is it ever finished?

I'm off on a little road trip starting tomorrow, and will be be using it alot. If I find any glitch or thing I missed I'll be keeping notes.

So it's been a while since I've updated things.
Lack of ambition and time mainly.... bad combination

Though lately I've been working on my updated version, I'm slating as cmdRR 2.2.
Here's a little taste of what the new look is like, though it's not all looks that have changed. I moved away from static buttons, so now I've got 2 menu screens with selectable buttons.
I'm using RR's new MediaList feature, as well as keeping RRMedia as the main audio app, though with changes in RR I've had to create an Audio Brower screen so I could see filenames under the folder list.

I am currently working on the skin browser, which will lead to the background chooser, then the plugin menu and settings.

I've also got my carpc on the desk beside me doing a reinstall and once I finish with that will have the skin in the car to test out. If anyone is wanting to get the newest pieces pm me.

Suggestions are welcome. See something that's not right, let me know and I'll try to change it. I'm not attached to the buttons, and will likely change them out in time...

Thanks - still working on it (it never ends!)

Buutt... a slow few days at work means more time to finish up some skin sections.(shh... don't tell anyone) Revamped the main menus to use the new dynamic menu.
The thing that's a killer is making one style change one a skin file means changing it on lots of others to balance it all out. Aiming to get a release available for the end of the month.

Okay, so it's not completed yet - didn't get as much time to work on things as I thought.
But here's what I've got so far. I'm still going to be working on it while I can - like tonight... and tomorrow.
Compared to version 1 this is stellar, IMHO.

So I realised that I missed a few files, and had some issues with that zip file. I spent a bit of today working on things, and repaired what I stripped out yesterday.
There is still more to go, but it's getting better.

Rather than linking each file, I'm just going to share the Box folder I have, and you can choose which release you want.. the newest.
Maybe I'll get daily updates into it...HA!

*NOTE* You need to modify/confirm the general.ini XPosition=
currently it is set to 1440, but you would likely need it at 0

Worked out a few bugs and tweaked a few more parts of the skin. Getting RRMedia all tidied up now.
New version uploaded into the Box.com folder. You need to modify the general.ini XPosition= as it's from my work PC and won't show properly unless you have a second monitor to the right.
Giz - you try it out yet?

Yeah, I did. Took me a few tries to figure out the changes for the general.ini. This is a much cleaner and more professional looking skin than your first iteration, looks good. I haven't taken it out to the car, yet, but soon.
