Good News,

So far I have completed the art and code for:

MAIN_SCREEN
AUDIO_PLAYER
AUDIO_BROWSER
VIDEO_PLAYER
VIDEO_BROWSER
RADIO_PLAYER
EXTERNAL_GPS

Everything is running and looking good.

Skin design is very functional! Can access any screen from every skin, a SHOCK trademark!

I am going to be adding:

SKIN_BROWSER
MIXER
BACKGROUND_CHANGER

and that should be enough to release a beta version of 7 while I work on the FULL_MENU.SKIN

Lookin' good! I wish there was some way the playlist window could have rounded corners, would look a lot better.

Still workin on that, I have the iList working good, but need to figure out how to get it transparent.

Did the first beta run moving it from my devel system to the truckPC and ran it on my way to school tonight. Audio/Video/Nav Works splendid. Looks like I need more work on the Radio screen, it does not initalize the tuner unless I go to a different skin and launch it. I know it's missing something, but good news is the HD parts work, and so do the preset buttons

remember RR is screen(skin) based not source based

so...

radio must be named "Radio_Player.skin"

also.. the radio should initialize in the background... even if you dont have that skin

The problem is HD radio works great in all the other skins but it is something with my newest code that is not launching it and/or taking control of the tuner. Going to look at it now. If i switch to shock v6, launch radio, it plays, then switch to shock v7 I can control it.

I must be missing a file or something.

I have it named RADIO_PLAYER.skin I don't think RR is case sensitive for skin files?

The casing of the file doesn't matter. The only setting required for the radio is "radio=" if you have that setup in RR.INI it should work on all skins. Please verify that you're not overriding this setting in skin.ini for instance... I highly suggest you to add "radiodebug=true" to RR.INI and see what comes up on the debug log.

I remember i had the same problem with my HD radio not activating when going to the Radio_Player.skin.

I think all i did was put a playlist object in the skin file, but i can't be 100% sure. Looking back i had the following code at the end of my 'Indicators' section in the radio_player.skin file.

S01,798,0,2,2,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,TRUE," 12","Arial"

Give it a shot.
