FYI Blue IM'ed me this morning with good news,,,,all you DFX and RRext users ,,,, can now also use Genesis ,,, if wish upon release ,, Blue has found the error that rrext was causeing bassr to play up on rr start ,, so there is NO!!!!! reason to unreg this plugin now,,, as far as i'm aware Blue is doing a bit of a tidy up to the plugin then i assume he will release a up date for this...

carputer1, good to know. I can still test more with Genesis on my "7" machine, before installing on the Ford truck CarPc.

nice to hear ,, any issues of any kind please info me ,,,,.when i catch Blue back on line i'll ask if its ok to pass out the new rrext dll to testers ,,, prior to main release of rrext

@ Rawpwr here you go the start of the new RRTC

to save a selected cam from list ,, i'm makeing the bottom left switch active to save the images to main page

Just a update

Things are really moving along ,,, we have a installer now built ,, tests going really good so far ,,, new ideas comming to us all the time....
added a version of usbmon plugin to the skin ,, its Genesis own version ,, not quite the same as El's released version , Gen's version allows you
to do much more.....
Spoke to john this morning about dropbox,,this is a really good idea and the the app is very simple to use ,John has agreed to allow us to try the have a look at the idea for this project to.
at the same time some new really nice weather icons have been found ,, i'm sure john will be adding these to the dfx installer for the future release,,
they really stand out and make the weather screen so much nicer than the RR default ones,,,,,

the Project team are considering a public beta release ,

I know i'm keep bumping my own thread ,,,

But things are moving along at a nice rate ,,, the project now has its own updater via skin ,,, it works simular to DFX 's version ,, but we don't use a 3rd party app
i have full control over whats what ,, we have changed the server to linux for a more stable ftp,, to which the updater works from.,,basically ,, you open the genesis_about.skin , via PI manager
this will start the search for whats in the ftp udate folder ,, you can select single or all to be downloaded and installed ,, the updater will be for ALL in the project ,, Skin,Bassrr<movie_info,RRwifi

Installer is now finished and tested working ,,, aloows you to select what you would like to install,, sets the correct settings for you , to run the Project .
also a help file is in process as well , very simple stuff and layout ,, quick info about where things are and how to 1st run setup,, then a screen by screen help. just a scr cap with
info below on what dose what ....

the web site is being looked over at the moment bring that up to date...
The project still has a long way to go ,, to become as fully detailed as DFX or some other skins out there ,, but we are getting there slowly but surely ...
