Very nice work, Suave! With RRVoice and DFXVoice (once released) integrated this will be a great one.

+1 for a voice recognition plugin! any webradio included in the skin would also be very useful, since i don't have a sirius or hd radio (germany).

I installed this in the car yesterday. You know a skin is excellent if it makes you switch from CF and go through the hassle of upgrading RR. One thing I'd like to mention though is the glow on the app icons really doesnt look great on low contrast monitors.. like most car PC monitors tend to be. I kinda like the old icons from eLite better because they just look better on my Lilliput 669 and other screens.

The skin comes with two types of icons, one is themed based (glowing) and the other white (stock). Try using the white ones.

Go to Elite Settings >> Themes Settings >> Uncheck "Themed Menu Buttons"

Thanks for that. I'll look to see which appears better in the car. I have one more request, in previous eLite you gave us a baseline "icon" which we could then use to create icons for custom apps/plugins. Could we have one of those for the icons for eLite 2 please. I've already started hacking together skins for plugins i consider important to me (rrvehiclemaintenance is done for instance), but i dont have an icon matches the others.

For anyone who wants skins for additional plugins please contact me. Some of them may be temporary but they're all decent i'd say. So far i have RRVehicleMaintenance, RRTMS, and RRDSATX skinned.

Can we force 800 x 600 on this skin as well? Have not tried this skin yet.

How can I install elite 2 under 800x600 resolution. My Xenarc monitor has 800x480 native resolution however, I don't know how to set it to 800x480. The elite classic did not have any problem when running at 800x600.

inside the skins folder there is a file called general.ini. Change the SHOWHEIGHT setting to 600.
