the gpsexec.ini file ?
I have poi data, but i havent found any data that includes the heading information, ie in which direction of travel is the POI, i see there is the possibility to add the data in gpsexec but i havent found a source that provides it?
Ho yes , this is the Maxhdg and MinHdg but i don't know how to calculate it.
I have found one but it is a mixture of N, SW etc and text like "on the bridge" not very helpful and no speed which i really want.
What is your need exactly ?
i wanted to use the heading information to cut down the number of false alerts, ie if the camera is on the oposite side of the road etc
A solution would be to define automatically the min and max heading, if it is not define into the gpsexec.ini file, calculate with the heading of the road where you are .
A little change into gpsexec1.exe is possible for that, i think !!!
For each new point , it is possible also to define the min and max heading with the same solution . But if you have a list of points without the heading it more difficult to calculate the heading for each point!
apologies for the delays in returning, i still have a moderator OKing my posts
if you could make a change to gpsexec1 to calculate the heading from your relative position, and ignore those that are not on your current heading we wouldnt need any heading information, just a var to allow the selection of how many degrees you want to use. ie if you are heading north and the poi is north +- X degrees it is not ignored, is this what you meant, it sounds like a good solution if you can make the changes? perhaps allow a couple of presets one for city and one for motorway driving where the degrees will be less
yes it is that i want to do but i don't know if i can !
I love the look of this skin, got a really clean feel to it. Good job Sir!!
