    My DFX Facelift

I love the DFX skin as much to say the core it's self and have used it from day one as my main skin.

Now I am more knolagable about skinning what I did not like was the look so I decided to give it my own face lift and add a few things as I go.

I don't have many screens done as yet because I have been studying Autoit since my skill are with VB but thought I would let everyone see where I am at and what I have played with so far.

What I have added as far as feature is that I have created a script which as you will see in the video where you would click any part of the top screen label to take you to the song info screen.
What I have done is split this in half so the left is the song info and the right is my new script which allows you to cycle through the different center logo's etc.

So you get 2 different clocks, pictures, 3D then 2d Logos, compass, play list, weather, speedo and album art. without having to go and choose a new style.
The other thing I did not like was was the clocks and logo's being stretched because of the use of the same skin INC for all so I have created different INC to suit different center inserts and the script selects the correct INC so all ceter pieces look perfect.

You will also notive the extra menu which is the first one which is the only menu that displays the center pieces.

let me know what you think and I will post more pictures and update the video as I progress.

What I would like to do is thank all those who have made DFX such a great skin.

    Cheers
    Michael

Yes I will when it is done.

Because as I said in the DFX section it would be rude of me not to since Blue & J have got the DFX skin where it is taday.

The problem is that if you try to use the new update feature it will of course stuff my skin up as the update will replace files I have made changes too.

Unless I was to know in advance the changes and make them in my version of the skin but this would also require my changes to be avalible un the update so this is what I am worried about when I share it.
