I never got the psd's but id definitely appreciate it if you could change just the font too AddCityBoy. Technically it still matches because i'm using the previous font for the buttons but if you have the free time go for it

I'm gonna push through some skinning today and tomorrow morning and hopefully get a pre-release out tomorrow afternoon. Several things will be disabled for they're own reasons.


For now i'll post a helper screen that lets you know some of the hidden features of the skin. I've color coded the features and there's a legend below the image.




Purple= The minimize button
Orange= The Menu button. Menu button's main purpose is to bring you back from sub screens to the main menu.skin. The button also has a click and hold feature that gives you a secondary command. MOST skins simply use "MAIN" command as the click and "CLOSE" as the click-and-hold. However the menu.skin is different. The menu button switches the main buttons (like in MC2.0.. you've all seen this feature before), the click-and-hold on the menu.skin pulls up the shutdown options.
Yellow= Label containing your "location" based city and state. Press this area to run the LOCATE command
Green= click command is MIXER. Click and Hold is "EJECT"
Red= click command is a dynamic mute system. It reduces your volume by 80%. Click and hold is MUTE command
Blue= Option button will change depending on the skin your in. The command will be displayed on the button label. On menu.skin it brings up skin configuration

One hidden feature not colored is the click-and-hold function on the PLAY button runs the "STOP" command.

When you say change the font which bit of the calender do you mean?
Month and year digits,date's of the month,days of the week or the buttons?

I'm not familiar with the font you want to use,where can i get it?
EDIT: i found the font,it wasn't hard

the actual calendar days look good.. Just the month and year and the buttons need to be changed to the new font.

Wow, I think this skin is finally going to make me leave CF and SD, money spent and all, and come to RoadRunner! This looks super nice Sonic!! Can't wait!

I'm still pushing to get a pre-release out today.. but for now i've added a poll to the thread. Please vote on your menu choice

1.Keep it the same as described above
2. Change the menu system so that the main menu buttons slide in on ANY screen when the menu button is clicked. When its held the CLOSE command would be run taking u back to menu.skin.

Just wondering, where is XM on your priority list for next pieces you plan to work on? I ask because XM is what I use the most in the car.

xm skin will be done the day after christmas most likely.. thats when i'll be getting my subscription

late on releasing this due to a little bug in the audio playlist. Workin on it now.. hope to have it uploaded monday morning!

really anticipating the release of this skin. keep up the excellent work. question or request is it at all posible for a maint/gas section?
