So I've created new .skin files (Garmin_WIDE.skin - based loosely off the IGuidance_WIDE) which allow more screen area for the Garmin app. Also removed the buttons which don't offer any function to Garmin (which was basically all of them for now). Edited the exectbl.ini with the following lines (section listed above the line):
/----------------- Dynamic Menu Buttons -----------------------
/ RR Command to execute when button is pressed
/----------------This is the label that is displayed on the Main Menu Buttons ----------------
"SetAppLabels","SETVAR;ButtonLabel;=MUSIC<<=RADIO<<=VIDEO<<=DVD<<=XM<<=SIRIUS<<=PHONE<<=UTILITIES<<=RIP CD<<=TV<<=WEATHER<<=PICTURES<<=GAMES<<=GAUGES STATS<<=BROWSER<<=SETTINGS<<=GPS<<=GPS<<=GPS<<=GPS <<=GAS PRICES<<=CAMERA<<=TRAFFIC CAMS<<=CALENDAR<<=MEDIA COPY<<=COLORS<<=LOTTO<<=NET RADIO<<=RADAR<<=SCANNER<<=HD RADIO<<=LAUNCH<<=SKINS<<=SYS DIAG<<=G. EARTH<<=Lyrics<<=JUKEBOX<<=TASK MAN<<=G MAPS<<=THEME<<=WIRELESS<<=THEATERS<<=RRMEDIA<<=CNN NEWS<<=DAYTIME<<=GPS<<=CLEAN SCREEN<<=Garmin"
/ These are the labels for the application that will show
/ up on the screen that gives the selection of buttons to choose from
however being the total noob to skin editing whenever I run RR and make a button for Garmin and then push said button, it loads the skin editor...
clues? Garmin seems to embed fine...I've just run into a road block with this skin editing issue.
:EDIT: Nevermind...I got it
I'll post a screenshot in a few

I am trying to get freefone to work with my motorola q. I am on Verizon. I have a bluetooth dongle that goes through Widcomm's audio gateway. Is there a way to change the comport on freefone? Also what other things do I have to do to get it to work?
Cameron, I wish you the best of luck Getting a phone to work with the PC is something I gave up on long ago.. I just use a parrot bluetooth device (google it) hard wired into the the sound system in my car. I would think that you would have better luck posting this in the FreePhone thread, as it really is not a skin issue.
I just recently tried to do this same thing with my XV6800 pocket pc. no love. as of yet, there are no software solutions to truely run your computer via your phone. I tried the "remote control" program and it wouldnt even install on a friends phone which they said it would work.
good luck man...i gave up just as John did.
