Hey I am new and have no talent like you guys but i think i may have confirmed that the 3d logo wall clock "_Clock_B&W_Wall.swf" is closing becuase it is setup as a button click.
how i came to solution 1 renamed another clock to it and it launched that clock.. the renamed one opened up with no problems as it should. But the "_Clock_B&W_Wall.swf kept crashing or closing RR no matter what name it had.
2. i then opened up so think swf decompiler and looked at that clock and and the _Clock_B&W_Wall.swf it appears "_Clock_B&W_Wall.swf" has a button in the resource file button 41.. when clicked it closes the clock thus closing RR.. No biggie because john has provided many other choices..here is the action script in the swf file and that references button 41 "the entire clock"
"// Action script...
on (release)
{
fscommand("close");
}
Now back to fighting my winamp muting issues. Is anyone using a dell gx260.
do you put a check in ignative if using the road runner config app file. Or do you just set it in the dfx3.0 skin. I have tried both and I am getting very mad.. Iknow its possible just cant figure it out.. hmm mayble disable dualmon??

how do I change the temperature from f to c on the system diagnostic?
I don't find anything on rr.ini and rrconfig.
OK I found out where this setting is at - it's in the Weather_Interactive.skin file. You'll see the latitude/longitude coords in there as well as the zoom level.
I have another issue - I changed the general.ini file so the skin will show for 800x480 which works fine from what i can tell, except for one thing: The main menu buttons at the bottom, the print is too large (except for the MENU button on the far left) and part of it is displayed off of the buttons themselves. Not sure if this was supposed to get scaled down or what not. I didn't know if the font size was a RR setting or a skin setting but I looked all over the place to try and find where to change it. It seems the rest of the text in the skin at that altered resolution looks ok, though overall I'd like to lower the font size a notch or two.
Hi John,
congratulation, verry nice an verry good.
:-)
Well i know nothing about flash or any programming lang but i got it too work just dumb luck i guess
step1 okay i decompiled the swf with sothink decompiler i unchecked the button41 and then i unchecked the action script associated with button41. then exported the fla and the resource to desktop
step2 open adobe flash 8
import saved .fla
there was another instance of button41 i tried deleting that didnt work..
what worked was clicking on the btton 41 and changing the action of it.. to a graphic.
it asked did i want to lose all action script associated with it.. i clicked yes and then published as a swf file and tested in DFX3.0..
IT worked.. the clock no longer kicks me out when i click it..
Newbs luck.. anyone want the clock file..
oh and brewdog i will try navimon2 later today thanks
KIAs can have car pcs too..
I'd say pm john and get him the file so that on the next update it will be included. Along with some other nice things...hint...hint
