How did you get the EXIT and Back button up there?this is how i have mine.
I hope so. It looks good. Embeds well at least.
I was messing around a little because I have this dyer need for a Dial Up Network Manager in the skin sicne i use my phone for EVDO. I thought it would be cool to just have button for connect and disconnect but from little feedback on it in other Posts for RR don' think it's happening. So next best thing, embed a third party. I found one that works for me. It's not pretty but has what I need and most importantly an "EXIT" button on the bottom for I do not know how to size it and it overlaps the menu button.
Here its.
It's called SP Dialer 1.40
Only problem I cannot figure out is the Icon PNG image I chose (the phone) does not show up. I am using Blue ZX's button editor to allocate this. I can change every other button's icon's though.

Did you put the icon in the C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 3.0\MenuIcons
Folder?
The OBD program is skinnable, although beyond the time that I have to spend, and I am sure that it was photoshopped and command added to the button similar to Road Runner.
It is an existing Icon already in there that suits me. It even created a copy with the button name automatically I guess..? Still won't show up in skin.
John: Going through the settings of this SP Dialer I see an option for Dial/Hangup hot key. A single command for both.. What do you think..?
I can't even get the labels to show up let alone the icon. Are you editing a preexisting button, or creating a new one.
If you are creating a new button, use the same logic as I showed you for the OBD Diag program to manually add the items to the EXECTbl. Might not be the fastest way, but will get the job done. It will change buttons because there is already command lines to associate the icon with. Just tried this myself.
Remember it is called an EDITOR, not CREATOR, so there must be something to edit in place first. At least that is the logic I will convince myself with.
Yeah I have been looking how to do it manually but cannot seem to figure it out. I don't see where the ICONS are linked to the actual button.
I believe I created a new one. I didn't know what it would if I jumped in the middle of the whole numbering sequence (IE:"SetCommandLabels49","SETVAR;MyApp49LB;SP Dialer||SetCommandLabels50")
Just copy the info discussed earlier in post 1540 and change the myapp number to the next number in your sequence. MYAPP53 etc.
Then you can open the editor and change the icon etc. If there is no code to associate it with to start, it won't let you add it. If the code is their it will show up as a duplicate button and then you can edit it.
That is really not the the way the internal logic is supposed to work.. There is an updated Btn Editor/Creator for the next release as we ran out of btns on the app chooser screens.
Me & John will test and if no probs with an 3.0 exectbl file, i'll have him post the newer one up..

Alright!... I finally figured out that the lavel in the bottom of the menu ski had to be associated with the icon/png. I changed it to the same as "Sp Dialer" in the menu skin and we are golden. THANKS!
Another cool feature for the SP Dialer, if it were some how incorporated into a single button Connect/Disconnect, the program plays a wav of your choice for for acknowledgment. In my case a lady says "Connected", for "" and then "Goodbye" for disc. So you would only have to have this program in the tray and not even in the skin.
