Look at the navmon2. you can select any other audio line to mute or lower the volume.
Here,I lower my cd Line where the HD Radio is playing through. Now, when iG speaks it lowers my HD Radio.

Thanks MGD, I see the cmd area in Navimon2 but not sure what command would mute and unmute xm audio. Do you have any idea? Thanks

That would depend on the line you're using for the XM box.
Where is it hooked up? Line In, CDPlayer, Mic?

Is navimon2.exe included in RR or is it seperate I have the similar problem that Sirirus does not mute when GPS talks.

Also I am not sure if anyone has figurred out this other problem I am having when I resume from hibernation my Sirius does not start playing I have to navigate to the sirius screen then it starts playing. I have the resumemusic=1 in the rr.ini

Then you would use..
SETVOL;Line In;40
SETVOL;Line In;255

Volume is from 0 to 255. 0 means 0% Vol and 255 is 100% Vol.
Play with the settings to find your volume level.
