The builder app on a rescan has been the biggest PIMA!! Yes, you could just delete the db and just do a full import when you add more media. The only things you really loose by doing this would the number times played (used for the Top x songs feature) and being able to browse by recently added as everything woud always be added at the same time.. As long as the ONLY thing you delete is the db file, you will not loose your ratings or disks (backed up before had and restore after rebuilding)

I guess I'm off to on the buider app some more...

Hopefully I can find the file/files that are making the database quit scanning. i'll work on it some more tonight and hopefully have some results for everyone.

thanks for taking a look Blue. like i said, it happens on the 3rd time you try to build/update the database. I can see this being a problem because I (like alot of people here) add 2 or 3 cds to the car about every week or so. I don't know how you do it, but updating the database a 2nd time seems to work flawlessly (it quickly matches what's in the database compared to the directory and adds additional files as necessary. Depending on how many files you are adding it starts a % above 50). If it was able to stay consistent with updating I think we got a winner.

DFX 4 does not display Russian characters in the music player screen correctly. It is garbled. When I go back to DFX 3 - it works OK. Any one else noticed problems with int characters/able to fix it ?

I'v been playing around with DFX4 for a few days now and works great, except i can't get the flash 3d logos, clocks, playlist or any car logos to show up on the main menu. All that is displayed in that area is black.

I have the latest flash installed and its weird because the 3d clocks and logos work on DFX3, but not 4. I can switch to 3.0 and the clocks and everything work, but when i switch to v4.0 it doesn't work.

Must be a setting i have to manually set. Any suggestions would be helpful

Until you get the bug tracker fixed I have noticed that the "YouTube" skin error with -1 Line something when you click search, can anyone else confirm or deny if they are having the same issue?

Also John are you working with Mitch to get his new Sirius/XM/HD files implemented I know there is supposed to be significant improvement made with the new versions he is working on..

Ok having an issue with the spinning logos... fixed it by replacing

INC,$DFXMenuStyle$

with

INC,Menu-3DLogo.txt

not the best answer but it worked for me.... how does $DFXMenuStyle$ get set? I tried with different RR versions(pre & post Mitch)... same result
