Ok, after pulling my hair out, as well as Nitr8, The bug tracker appears to be fixed YEA!

For those that already registered, I had to copy your bug reports, thus they are under my name... sorry. Also anyone that registered, you will have to re-register... sorry again.

It's very simple. User name, Password, Real Name (USE YOUR FORUM NAME FOR THE REAL NAME field), and email address. (You can use a fake email address if you want).

Let's try to keep ONLY bugs posted in the bug reports manager. For instance, Hoe do I get the 3D logo to show up in the menu, is NOT a bug

(And will be marked as such in the bug tracker

)

If you look through just the last 10 posts alone, you can see why this bug tracking manager is really essential to keep on top of things! Everything can get buried and over looked REAL fast in this thread, as most of you already well know

If you need to post a screen capture to go with your bug report, Just upload it to http://imageshack.us/ or any other photo sharing service, and post the link to the image in your bug report.

So, i did some testing and when i use mitchjs version of roadrunner i can get the logo to work on DFX3, but still not DFX4.

When i went back to the roadrunner version i was originally using. I think it was version 12/13/07 the logos worked on DFX4.

I really want to use mitch's version of rr as he has made some big inprovements to hd radio, but for some reason logos doesn't work on DFX 4 with his version. Looks like there is some sort of conflict with mitchjs version and dfx4.

I just dont understand why DFX3 logo works on mitchjs code, but DFX4 logo doesn't...

Is anyone else using Mitchjs version of rr and having problems with DFX4 logo?

If its not just me then i will mention it in his thread.

Yeah, I'm still using Mitch's RR. The Good outweigh the bad.

As for the logos and such working in DFX3 and not DFX4, I would think John changed something along the way.

As stated in here before...With that build of RR from MJS non of the menu layout features work. You have to choose which is more important to you right now.

I am connected to the web.

GPS antenna is working fine, I know because the speedo, etc work great.

I put in my town and state in the config.

The weather screen opens, and I can load the most recent Sat, Temp and Radar maps dated today.

The problem is I cannot get the 1 day and 5 day views to display anything. No images, no temp, forecast, humidity, nuthin'. Those 2 screens just have the labels, but no info that goes with them.

What am I doing wrong? I thought the 2 files from 05/27 would fix that.

Also, is there any way for the AutoIt icons NOT to show up in the taskbar next to the clock? It seems like 4-5 are running, and becuase that section of the taskbar is so long, the open programs part of the taskbar can only show 2 open programs without those dopey up/down mini scroll buttons showing up.

Hey Doug133

The 2 files for the weather patch in the zip file here: roadrunnerexe and usbradio.dll (which I know is not for the weather)
05/27/08 Road Runner Official Beta, Weather Fixed!

I put them in the RR root folder. I thought that was all that is needed to fix the weather. Since I am getting the Sat, Temp and Radar maps OK, it seems I must have done something right, but I can't get anything on the 1 and 5 day screens...

Can you please help me understand how the "GPS Volume Settings" works in 4.0, I am not quite sure what I did but now the system volume stays at 15% which is too low i clicked the "ON" and clicked "Windows High" still at 15%

First off, thanks to John and Blue for a great skin and db application.

Well I'm having the same problem as Stealth, the database builds but searching and browsing anything other than Folder view yields no results.

I've tried everything including rebuilding the db and fixing all tags on the mp3s. When reduilding the db, I have a green checkmark on all things except for "Ratings Playlist Found" and "Ratings Playlists Imported".

I know it's probably something simple I'm missing but I've been at this for 4 days now with no success.

Did you try the press and hold? Each button can be set individually.
