Well I'm having the same problem as Stealth, the database builds but searching and browsing anything other than Folder view yields no results.

I've tried everything including rebuilding the db and fixing all tags on the mp3s. When reduilding the db, I have a green checkmark on all things except for "Ratings Playlist Found" and "Ratings Playlists Imported".

I know it's probably something simple I'm missing but I've been at this for 4 days now with no success.

Some quick simple checks:

#1 Size of your db file? (located in your musicpath root)
#2 Take a look in at the FilesScanned.txt file to see if looks ok? (located in your rr\RMDatabase\Support Files folder)
#3 Have a look at the 'Files Missing Tag Info.txt'. (located in your rr\RMDatabase folder)

I have a problem with getting WinDVD8 to work. I managed to get WinDVD to start up but after the controls disappear when I try to bring back the controls by taping on the top left corner it focuses the WinDVD program to the top of the screen so RR is behind the WinDVD window. Is there anyway to get WinDVD8 to work with this skin? Or what is the best DVD software that works with this skin?

Also what happened to the on screen keyboard in the browser skin? Is there anyway to bring that back?

Use XP

I had the same problem on XP SP3. So it is not a Vista problem.

Interesting I am running XP Pro SP3 and I did not seem to have a problem

1. 29KB after I rescanned again. it was around 500K

2. I can't find this file...... It's not in the folder specified

3. There are quite a few files that are missing some parts of the tag, but all of my files have some parts of the tag. Do all fields of the tag on every song have to be filled in for the database to work?
