Sorry to be a jack-*** here, because I know this has probably been covered umpteen times. I re-installed RR with DFX 4 (after uninstalling it all)
Now my HD Radio only shows AM (and no sound) I keep forgetting how to set the rr.ini lines. Please help:

allowallfreqs=false
radioline=0
userbds=false

Hi John,

Is the help file located somewhere outside of the installer for easy download? Might be an idea to link it in the first post so people can download it and refer to it on computers where they may not have installed the app (work computer, Vista machine etc etc).

I john,

I dont know why RR freez when i use every button in the audio menu

I use dfx 4.0 ,winamp 5.13,vista ultra . . Have you a list of buf knowed in dfx4.0 . I read often this forum .

When i want install activewinamp , it freez on file gen_activewa.dll .

Can you help me

Problems using DigitalFX Skin

Hi,
I'm brand new to the forum and car pc business. But if tried to do my best in installing my own car pc. Now that i've seen the tremendus features of this skin, i would like to give it a shot - but i can't.
I've tried the help file, updatet RR to the latest beta, installed the right Winamp version, Flash and Shockwaveplayer, but when i start up RR the screen doesn't load. The background is grey an if i move the mouse over the buttons they start to pop up.
My OS ist WinXP latest SP German.
What can I do to make it work?

Guten tag und Willkommen zu den Foren!

open the Digital FX skin folder, and then open skin.ini in notepad.

Find the line that looks like this:
background=C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Backgrounds\WindowsLogoRed.jpg

and change it to the path for the Backgrounds folder inside the Road Runner folder.

Hi John, thanks for the fast repley. My Skin.ini says>
background=C:\Programme\Road Runner\Backgrounds\Blue OS.jpg
but nothing changed. I also have changed the other Program Files Paths to Programme, but my screen still looks like this, when i start RR up:

As I start to move the mouse the Buttons pop up, when I hover them. Whats wrong with my setup?

This is definitely a problem with the background path.

open the skin.ini file and replace the background= line with this one:

background=RGB000C41

Let me know if that fixes the problem. If so, then you can go to settings, digitalfx settings and choose the change wallpaper button, and pick a background image of your choosing.
