Thanks for this great skin and your effort in making it an helping me.
I figured out a workaround for my problem myself. I just reinstalled RR and Winamp in the expectet directory c:\Program Files\...
As far as I can tell right now it is working like a charm.

My IGuidance 4 window is does not seem to be embedded into the skin. What I mean is that it is there...in it's allocated space...but it shows the tool bar and everything like it is just a minimized window in the space and not just the map. It just takes away the size of the map more you know? Any ideas?

Open RRConfig.exe, select GPS. Make sure the window Name is iGuidance.

I have a couple of labels/indicators that I like to include on more than one page. So I thought I'd be smart

and put that code in a text file and just put an include statement in each skin file. I noticed 2 things:

When I did that, the indicator would not pull the values from the plugin (powermon).
The text didn't pick up the font and font color information, using John's variables. They displayed in arial black.

I cut/paste the exact lines from my include file directly into the skin files it works perfectly. So I've avoided the problem. But from a curiosity perspective I'd like to learn why it didn't work.

John I really like the way you closed the gap between the button text and the button images. Makes it look much more professional and polished in my opinion. I pm'd you with a similar suggestion not long after 3 came out. I'll take .0000001 % credit for that improvement

Another interesting tidbit - my system has only had your skin for quite a while. It was SO HAPPY that after running the 4.0 installer when I went into the skin chooser it wouldn't let me choose 4.0. It would display for a fraction of a second and then switch back. So then I tried switching to BMV - again it displayed for a fraction and then switched back. I had to manually edit the ini file to get it to even use 4.0. RIP 3.5, you served me well

You would have had to have this at the top of your include file "INC,DFX_Font_Color.txt" for both the colors and fonts to match.

I am having a problem with the music browser. Everytime I try to browse my music RR locks up and I have to exit RR and relaunch. I have verified that if I use just the standard RR skin BMV ( i think that what its called) I can browse my music folder. I have tryed it with DFX3 and DFX4 and both lock up when trying to borwse my music. I have tryed it with ilist on and off with the same results. I am just setting up my carputer so I dont have anything elese loaded except for winamp . I have my music folder configured in RRconfig and winamp. I could use some help...

Now that you have said that it locks up rr in both 3.0 & 4.0 going into the browser, then I know that is not an RRMedia problem, and as someone else mentioned that it is probably an ilist problem as the std rr skin does not have ilist's for its lits, just regular lists.

if you use the latest beta(weather fix) open up your rr.ini and add usedx=false, then restart rr and see if your problem goes away.
