Thread: DigitalFX 4.0

Ok, I have been re-working the DFX custom font here, and I think I have come up with a fix for the fonts displaying wrong at 800 x 480 resolution.

If someone could test this out on their system, and let me know how it works for you at 800 x 480, that would be great.

You will have to install the new font in the attached zip file, and copy the BottomButtons.txt to the skin folder. That's it.

Someone give it a try and report back soon as you get a chance.

Downloaded the skin today (been out of the scene for a while) and ABSOLUTELY love it. The new layout is excellent and it looks a lot better.

I haven't read through all the post so I don't know if it has been posted before or not. I'm have two problems with the skin

1) Nothing shows up in the middle of main menu (that is no logo, clock, 3d logo etc). I've tried all the different options but nothing shows up. I even install the latest flash but still no luck (everything working fine on DigitalFX 3.0)

2) When I click on Calender, I just get a blank screen with music buttons on the bottom. (Again, this feature works fine on 3.0 version)

Any idea ?

i just briefly skimmed his thread looking for an answer to a problem i've had since installing DX4 on the my carputer... during install, the installer file crashed shortly after installing flashfix.exe. I've tried to restart the installer several different times but it always crashes right there. Now since i've done that my arial font seems to have changed to italic style. I see it in the DFX skin and all other skins with arial defined. It also makes my 3sixty.1 application crash on start saying something like base font styled changed. Any ideas on what caused this?

What version of RR are you running?

not sure but I haven't updated RR is a while.

That's probably why. The older versions don't supports Including a variable. Download the latest version, and you should be good to go .

I had these same issues - See post 2111 (page 141).
