Also of note, the Spectrum Analyzer at the top only works on the main menu screen. It doesn't show up in any other screen.

What Main screen layout are you using? Try using the Logo with compass. Once you have that setup, click on the time and that should bring up the vis.

Is it possible to have the logo section of the menu page display the GPS screen, Album art, or a visuallization like the spectrum analyzer.
Back to the URL OSK and the issues with "Enter". I was playing around with it today and noticed that even hitting enter on my keyboard while using the OSK to enter the URL does not work. Also "Cancel" does not bring you out of the OSK. So I have to CTRL ALT DEL and close RR to reset, because not being able to enter the url I cannot get out of the OSK screen. Also, what happened to the OSK for the web pages? Let's say I am in google. There is no way to enter text into the search box without an external keyboard. Any one else having same issue? Enough to plac ein bug tracker?
Hi all.
Just want to say props to you two guys (John and Blue) and anyone else who helped for all the work that you've done. It has definately not gone unnnoticed, and I will be making donations shortly, just concentrating on sorting my library out to compile the DB at the minute as this is a big hold up, and my new screen arrived today aswell!
Just finished reading through all the posts, what a relief! Wouldn't have taken half as long if people read the FAQs and didn't post the same Qs 10 times, but hey!
I'd like to second a vote of a new thread, but I think it's probably a little too late now!
I too am having the issue reported by hpric in post #2200 with the URL keyboard in browser, if it is any help, I am using firefox, most recent version I think, with all default settings, only difference is I'm using the grab and drag plugin. And I have realised that RR doesn't freeze, but it is a pop up window in the background ;-[IMG][/IMG]
I did once catch some text in this window, and all it said was that firefox is open, but not responding, you must either close firefox or restart your system.
Another problem that I'm getting from time to time is the skin talking jibberish, Can't quite make out everything it says, but goes along the lines of;-
Resetting background, resetting coms, ressetting stars, and a load of other things which I can't quite remember now. It seems I get this when there is a problem with loading of songs, or the playlist is empty, but can't quite pin it down either I'm afraid.
I never suffered from this problem with DFX 3.0, but I have had to reinstall XP, RR and DFX since then, so I'm guessing I have a bad config, just can't seem to find out where.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Once again, congrats and thanks on truly good stuff.
[edit] Seems I'm not the only one having this problem then, what browser are you using Doug ?
Check post #2195 by lewcamino to edit the .skin file to incorporate the OSK.
John, should this be included in the next 'patch' ? Seems a lot of people would probably like this option.
I am a little confused as to the status of Gas prices. Everything works now on my updated versions of both RR and DFX except the gas prices. I click on it and it shows a list of nearby stations without the price. When I click on "map it", it gives a GPS menu and I only have iG4 and not iG3 (which it lists in the menu)....then nothing. I saw by searching that enforcer has a plugin, but he is not accepting new users on his forum right now. Am I missing something here or is that how it is until later? I did search in the help and on the forums.
Hope the new RR version includes Mitch's fixes when it comes out.![]()
I tried to go to your bugtracker and enter my bug.
The database didnt load properly it said completed but it did not finish and index the mp3's.
Even after i close RR this constantly pops up over and over...
