When I try to build my Music database all I get is a Port Error?? Any help?

it's too hard for me to dig all 169 pages to find out how to embed iguidance with digitalfx buttons around the map.
and when I add new songs to the database, the new songs wouldn't play, but some voice comes out, something like 'underscore...something.' how do i fix that?

It's not too hard, you're just lazy. At least be honest with us

Also/or see the dfx help file, it will also tell you how to do that.

Open the config and uncheck the voice setting, to get rid of the chattering.

And if you've just dl this skin, you'll need to update the db plugin as the one that comes with the skin is now old.

Hey John, again another great skin. I updated from DFX3 to DFX4 and loving it. I also decided to switch from IG4 to Garmin Mobile PC (see how it performs vs. IG4).

A few issues that I had:

1. When I chose the Garmin GPS from the buttons selector, it would open the Garmin GPS skin but not launch the program. I think I fixed it by changing the menu.skin file to include external_gps.skin or something to that effect. This in turn launched Garmin. (I have to retrace my steps and repost)

2. Garmin was getting chopped off at the top where the directions were being displayed. I changed the Garmin_GPS.skin to reposition the window so that it would not get chopped off at the top. (I will repost the window coordinates when I get home from work if anyone is interested)

3. The Garmin app will not embed correctly in the Audio skin due to the fact that the app can only be resized to a minimum size and nothing more. Unfortunately, I had to make a concession and run RR/DFX4 at 1280x800 (rather than 1024x768). This still causes Garmin to overlap some of the buttons but not as bad.

4. Running it at 1280x768 (widescreen) caused some of the text in the top (Artist/Title/Album) to be chopped off. Solution: Change the font size in the various .skin files (i.e. Audio_XXXX.skin etc. from 23 to 17/18). I fixed the drooping button issue by downloading the new font file that you posted as well as the txt file.

I have not installed the OSK screen for the Garmin GPS but I think I will be installing an external OSK program to use it with Garmin. I have one running now anyway when I am browsing the internet outside of RR and it is quite efficient.

Now I need to get MP3art to work when I get home! YaY!

I have to see if I like it on widescreen mode. I was getting really used to the 1024x768 resolution. Right now, I am a happy camper! Yet again, great work John.

Not sure if this is a DFX4 issue or a New RR release issue. I just resently upgraded both, and now when I click on the phone button it opens Freefone in front of RR. The only way to get back is to CTRL-ALT-DEL out. I'm one of the rare few who has had no problem using my phone with my carpc, and I'd really like it back. Thank you in advace for any help.

HmMm I updated the plugin, put "X,Mp3Art" into the menu.skin file directly below the "INC,Plugins.txt" line and removed the "X,MP3ART" from the Plugins.txt.

Does not work. Any ideas anyone?

Already did that.

The dll file is supposed to be placed in the RR root folder and not in skins>DFX4 right?
